My First Fakemon

My first one. Well he's not really a fakemon seeing as I scratched him for a secret santa adoptable on the PokePlushie forums. I still haven't found a proper name name for him. Well here Snowy is:

 

He's horrible, I know. CnC? Jappio?

Thanks, I knew the arms were screwed but I couldn't think how to make them thicker without actually stuffing up the sprite.

Trust me, if you "buff up" the arms a bit, it won't make the rest of it look thin.

It's 2d, but that's fine for a first.

The arms are to skinny, I suggest widening them in parts.

The arms could also be bent up a little, make them look like a real stick.

It needs to look toward the left, not directly forward.

 

Good:

The colors are wonderful.

I love how the eyes and mouth have the same colors as coal.

The head perfectly flows with it (in my opinion).

 

Good job: 8/10

Lol, thanks. It's a PokePlushie so it's meant to face forward. How can I make it 3D? I'm gonna do something about the arms later.

Well one thing wrong with your sprite is that unlike other Pokemon sprties, it faces directly at us, the viewer. Normally the head faces more towards the left, its right. Another problem that I have with it would be the the arms. Being just lines, they lack obrders or anything. I understand that they are suppose to be skinny, but half a border could also work for it. The shadow under the head could be a bit bigger. The border isn't very good, it's not a propper circle. To round it view this image. The one on the right isn't a perfect circle, while the one on the right is closer.

Well I already explained that it's a Plushie so it faces towards us on purpose. I already know about the arms. Thanks for the diagram, I'll take that into account. ^^ Also thanks for the name.
