Bloodrun
I have had three, one of my friends that were suicidal, died, no, not by her own hand, her father got drunk one night, and yeah.. Anyway, the other two, are great friends, or atleast I consider them great friends. Apart from them being suicidal, on ocassions, I have never seen them in a different view, other than being true friends, there for the kicks, and down for the count. Raelen
I have no suicidal friends. In fact, I have no friends. Or friends on YCM. ^_^No, seriously. I have none. Suicidal friends, that is. I have friends. Lot of them, darn it! 0_0Do you want to be friends?
Akira
Used to, but she was a jabroni. She used her "depression" as an excuse to seek attention, which I got sick of, so in the end I just ignored her.
Parting Shot
My sister was a cutter for awhile, but I think she's gotten over it. I have a couple friends who could conceivably do that, and I've talked a few people down from it in the past few years, so I guess that would be yes for me :P Used to' date=' but she was a b****. Dark
No, but I tried turning EMO once, and I only had one pair of black jeans, so it didn't work.

RestLess-BoTics
I try my best to avoid people with a dark aura. I've had a couple of friends who went into a depressive state and threatened to kill themselves, and by the time they told me that, I knew they were only wishing to seek attention. So, I walked away. I don't like to be mean, but ignoring them was the best choice I could make. -Glasstin

Son, let me tell you a story. There are, 7 year old boys, in africa, who have not only seen their parents get killed, but are raising their 1 year old siblings, off of very little food. Now rethink your question. Thank you.

Bloodrun
My gf occasionally tends to have self harming characteristics' date=' it worries me myself[/quote'] Self Harming characteristics, may mean that she has guilt, and for them side effects to be self harming, that guilt probably has to be from something personal. So either she did something that might hurt your relationship, or a family relationship.

Bloodrun
it was before we became a couple' date=' and it still happens every now and then though[/quote'] Well, then it could still be guilt. But since it happened before you became a couple, wait, did she know you during the time that she had this bahaviour? Oh wait, well obviously, if you know about it.Um, how high is her self-esteem? Does she respond good when relatives or friends come over? What I mean by good, is does she lighten up, and smile that sort of stuff?

She didn't when she had it, but it began to decrease dramatically when we knew each other (but before becoming a couple). Her self-esteem was near the rock bottom area before the two of us met
