Willieh
off-topic:So the other day I was at McDonalds right. This dude totally walked up to me and beat me with a no-no stick. Luckily for me, a fireman came up and sprayed him off of me with a hose. But then Team America came and killed the fireman.

Death Metal
I wouldn't let him/her get a chance to break....he/she would be dead/raped in the first 5 mins.
ragnarok1945
yeah but you'd want information out of him first. Still, trying to understand him individually would take too long, you need to understand his organization or something like that, which hopefully would be simpler. Leave him to the cruelties that's standard practice for info extraction
CrabHelmet
Is "undoubtably" even a word? It seems like a corruption of "doubtlessly", "indubitably", or "undoubtedly". Oh, and pretend I said something about torture here.
ragnarok1945
It actually is, Crab. I guess what the article is getting at is that the terrorist has gotten so used to torture and cruelty that if you use more and more against him, it'd be nothing new to him and he would know how to hold out, that's why you have to show something different. Isn't that right Avarice?

What I am saying is that terrorists are so bound to their beliefs, that they will do anything to protect it.
ragnarok1945
so basically you're insisted that instead of trying to break his will, it's much better if we simply undermine it instead?
Bloodrun
so basically you're insisted that instead of trying to break his will' date=' it's much better if we simply undermine it instead?[/quote'] No, I'm saying lets treat them like humans. Ok take this for example:I meet you in the streets one day. Now I have never seen you, nor even know anything about you. Instead of simply asking what your name is, I take your arm bend it behind your back and put a nail through your arm, into your back. Then ask what your name is. You see? Aggressive behaviour, typical of Gorillas protecting their territory, but instead of throwing crap, were throwing nuclear bombs, and tieing men to boards and pouring water in their mouths through socks. ragnarok1945
that's true. But you know how some people are: they don't know if they're doing the right thing or not, but they decided to do it anyway because from THEIR POV it's the right thing. Now, of course they're the people who don't understand and language but cruelty, but I doubt that can be many
