werewolfjedi
pretty happy about it. I played with a village deck with out tempest (I still want one though, would make it easier.), my partner played his own version of glad beasts.we won 3-0 first game was way to easy.it was a random pairing of decks, tiger burden + gadget oppression. since I was playing a pair of burdens, tiger killed himself first game, my partner shrink-ed it second game, and that was all she wrote for that deck.gadgets was poorly made, and did not have any actual threats worth mentioning. second game, chain burn + tempest burn.first game, they go first.we got hit early from the chain burn, brought us down to 3000, then I played village, and stopped the chain burn setup still on the field (pair of moon books, likely to stop any sort of otk we might have)and played my skilled dark beatstick. set c. evac. d. and roar.stopped tempest with evac, and they had nothing to stop a direct attack. my partner went in with the green bird of death and tagged out into two 2100's.chain burn was stuck. passed. I played exemplar. played reborn and stole the kycoo used to make tempest, foolish to bring out another kycoo, and swarm attacked for game. second game, chain burn sets up, goes to me, but this time I have no village, so I just set my two evacs. my partner however drew 3 cold wave(s).first one gets chained to and brings us down to 1500, but then they have nothing for 3 go-a-rounds. and with the 1800 ATK avg for the monsters we had, it was over fast. the last pair was the hardest, a surprisingly hard yubel DAD and harpie swarm combo. really long games. but we won in the end, game 1 lp at 2400, and game 3 ( lost the second) at 1500. copycat won the day, when I got it out vs the DAD and then played burden, reborn-ed their injection Lilly, and whacked them for game after my partner shrink-ed the DAD, (I had evac-ed the other 3 monsters, DAD killed our monsters instead of our magics luckily.) fun times. we had used a taking turns stratagem, where one person was playing conservative while the other went all out, then they waited while the other partner played what they had. reduced the need for draw power, which helped us use that power to help end the game quickly. werewolfjedi
Where's this Spellcaster deck that you played? It was of my own making, it was more or less made to get in the way and have good ATK, so I could deal heavy damage on my turn and not drag my partner down. if you want to build I'll post it here don't comment on it to make it better or anything, just here for show. EDIT: I'll post it later. short on time here. gotta go.

werewolfjedi
Well' date=' at least you won a regional. Do you get an invite to Nats?[/quote'] yeah, if I want to go I can. and I wouldn't mind trying. I'll need to get some more burn though for team. just got a tempest, so that should help. if I could get my hands on some toon tables, I would be ready to end the game as soon as we get a burn opening. maybe borrow his prisma's to make an eradicator otk as well. tempest eradicator deck, that could work, since he can cover me and make it so I can ignore defending myself and focus more on ending the game. iAmNateXero
Honestly, you and your partner should just main 3 Hanewata's. In the end, they can always still be tuners. ^_^

armageddon08
This topic reminds me of that time me and my friend won a team dueling tournament because of double PMD's and Security Orbs.
