A Game Guide!? Say what!?

Well, welcome to my guide to Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Before I go any further, look at the Q&A.

Q - Why did you post this? It looks like serious spam to me.

A - There are several reasons why I posted this. The biggest reason is I freaking feel like it. Second reason is I'm bored, and need to do something to pass the time. Lastly, this isn't spam. I talked to Avarice. He said post it in General.

Q - Will you be covering Master Quest edition?

A - No. This is strictly N64 style Zelda.

Q - Will you translate ROM controls and GC controls?

A - Do that yourself. As I said, strictly N64.

Q - Will this be a 100% guide?

A - I have complete the game 100% and am currently doing it again. I'll cover as much as I can.

Q - Can I help?

A - If you think your worthy, PM me.

Q - Will you do other games besides this one?

A - Actually, yes, I will.

Q - Will the other guides be only N64 games? Will they be 100% as well?

A - Well, a lot will be N64, but there will be others. Again, I'll try to do 100% to the best of my ability.

Q - Will it be updated?

A - Constantly.

Q - Can I post this at other forums?

A - Give me credit and PM me where you are posting it. If you don't, and I find out, I'll hunt you down, rip out your vital organs while you sleep, and feed them too my snake. As well as smashing and cutting off your toes and disfiguring your thumbs. >=D

Now, read on to see the guide. Sections will be put into spoilers for ease of use. Enjoy, and comment.

At the beginning of this wonderful game, you see Link, your character, having a nightmare. Of course, I'm not going into to details on it, but you'll wake up to see yourself sitting in a sort of tree house. Go ahead and take a look around, but there really isn't much to see. Go ahead and head out the door. You'll find yourself standing in Kokiri Forest. Your home, if you haven't figured that out already. Climb down the ladder and talk to Saria. She'll tell you you've been summoned by the GREAT DEKU TREE!!! (=O Amazing.....) Of course, you can take a look around the forest first. Go ahead and take a look inside the houses and such. Some will contain chests and pots that you can open and break for Rupees, the money in LoZ. Go ahead and take them, no one will stop you. After you've had a look around, head towards the Great Deku Tree. From Link's house, you take a right and cross that puny little pond. Oh, have I mentioned Navi yet? No? Well, Navi is the fairy that follows you around and "helps" you. Actually, she just b**ches at you constantly.

Anyways, head to the Tree. Once you get there, you instantly get stopped by Mido, the self proclaimed leader of the woods. He's a real bastard and won't let you pass unless you have a sword and shield. Well, I suggest you get the shield first, although it doesn't matter. If you haven't found the shop already, it's the big tree next to the little pond. In there you'll find a shield for......40 RUPEES!?!?!?!!11?1 Well, actually, it really isn't too steep a price. If you come out of the shop and turn right, you'll see Mido's house. Steal his 11 rupees (He has an attitude anyways), then go to your neighbor's houses and ransack them. The pots in their houses regenerate every time you leave, so just keep returning as soon as you leave. Really easy 40 rupees. Once you have the puny Wooden Shield, that sets on fire and fails miserably, go find the somewhat better Kokiri Sword.

Go to the little fenced in area and crawl through the little hole after the fences. Once through there, you'll find yourself in a maze with big, deadly, boulders rolling around. Before entering, wait for that boulder to roll by, then follow it and stop in a little patch of grass for a blue rupee. Keep looking for the treasure chest containing the sword. If you haven't figured this out by now, you open chests with the A button. Now you have the sword! Go back out and talk to the long haired kid. He'll teach you some of the basics of sword play. Before going to the Deku Tree, look at the house near the fences. When night falls, there will be a spider-like thing called a Gold Skulltula behind it. You collect Gold Skulltulas and then, later in the game, you'll find a house where you cash 'em in to get nice items. Anyways, sadly, time doesn't pass in Kokiri Forest, only out in Hyrule Field. You can't leave yet anyways. So just remember that place. Head towards the Deku Tree again.

Before I continue, I want to see people's opinions on it. I know it's random, but I was bored. =/

Wow. No.....crap. I posted this because I was bored. Plus, there's some people on YCM who, like me, are too lazy to go to Gamefaqs and such, when they could just go to General. =/
