ragnarok1945
yeah but sooner or later all apprentices will have used up their usefulness. Think about it: if the rebellion was defeated' date=' you really think Sidious would need an apprentice anymore?[/quote']Let me see now...Vader exists as his enforcer & if there is nothing more to enforce like the whole galaxy submits to Sidious, then Vader would outlive his usefulness. I think that's why the Death Star was made, to make Vader effectiveless & then Sidious can find some new lackey & force the 2 to fight to death for apprenticeship. That's what I'm getting at. Sooner or later everyone outlives it. And the death star's plans had been made LONG before Anakin turned to the dark side

Fh-Fh
And' date=' to prove Crab wrong, both the jedi AND the sith have sought immortality. Darth Plagueis was the first to discover it. Again, to prove Crab wrong, the sith was the most powerful in ages. Darth sidious is believed the most powerful sith ever.[/b'] Case closed. I'm pretty sure the Sith actually can't stop people from dying' date=' Sidiuos probably just said that to corrupt Anikan. Sidious saved Anikan from death with medical droids. Also (supposedly) Anikan managed to stay alive from pure hatred, which also makes no sense. [/quote'] That is wrong. Plagueis was sdious's master. Anakin was, in fact, the "chosen one" to bring balance to ONE SIDE of the force. Not the force altogether. Sidious stopped himself from dying so that he could live long enough to control the chosen one. Which is why sidious became disfigured whilst fighting Windu. ragnarok1945
I thought that was just the force lightning turned back onto him. In the Force, there is really no good or evil sides to it. It is just the Force itself & it alone. The Jedi & the Siths were wrong on both sides on their belief in the Light & Dark Side. ragnarok1945
and that means light and dark are nothing more than POV. Both side are biased, so you can't just say bring the balance to the side of the force you want. It's either the whole thing or don't bring balance at all

ragnarok1945
then we can also choose to believe there is only ONE force. It's kind of like the two sides of a coin: heads and tails. Does this mean because there's two sides, that means there's actually two coins?

ragnarok1945
that's not the definition of balance. Light and darkness must co-exist simultaneously. You can't completely remove one and still expect balance. That would be bringing chaos and havoc to the force

ragnarok1945
even if the sith could all be exterminated, there'd still be rebellion within the jedi order (no order is perfect). Fh-Fh
Look, the force was made to be a jedi thing. The sith's job is to corrupt and destroy it. Seen right here: Force without sith: 100% balanced force. Force with sith: 0-99% unbalanced force. And don't give me any of that "balanced needs dark" bullcrap. I could kick your ass in star wars trivia any day of the week. Not posting in this thread anymore.
