Konichiwa?

that's like the only word i know...xDD but im very interesting in learning japanese

I'm still unsure how many years it takes to master the language

My guess is 8.

It might be longer. The Japanese and Chinese writings are very similar' date=' and to fully master the Chinese language, it take about 26 years.

3 years before I could start making sense of what they said in anime...I'd say 5-7 before you're considered "fluent"

Writing/reading is a different story though.

well when I said mastering the language' date=' that means both reading it AND writing it. Obviously if you talk only reading a few years will do

Fully mastering a language is a lifetime thing.

Ok fine, then let's just say to master most of it (since the language is constantly altering the rules and such so you'd never succeed in your lifetime to fully master it anyway)

Actually, I'm not English and I think my English is quite well, seeing my fanfic. Also,I'm going to spend my holidays in France next year with sum family I've got there. without any parents or so, so I better hope my French is good. Next year I'm on an exchange project in Germany too.

you just need more time. One semester isn't long enough to learn spanish fluently

Actually' date=' one year is enough to learn enough Spanish for basic conversations.

My German you asked? Dunno, good enough to go to a German restaurant alone for example...

[/quote']

Yeah but I'm talking somewhere along the lines of talking business deals
