in my opinions

mirrage is a day to reconized that two persons are willing to make sacrifices for eachother..

that is why family members of each side gathers.....

all the ceremonial thingy isnt necessary..... but it does make the wedding more attractive..

See a main reason why there's so many divorces is because both people expect the other to change upon marriage, but in reality the change is much less than they expected and force them to compromise more than they wanted to

It depends. It costs to get it done and for what' date=' a kiss but on the other hand, it shows that you care and show compassion and will never leave them but that doesn't tend to happen.

costs? You're saying some people don't marry because of the money problems?

My mum and dad never got married because of that but they still just buy each other gift to express their love. Expecially now during the credit crunch.
