Life...

Willieh

Recommended Posts

is for the moment, the laughter, and the entertainment you can gather up and provide for yourself at this point in time. Prove me wrong.

If you're a religious nut, you have the after life to look forward to. Which is the most important. So this isn't important.

If you're an atheist, you have nothing to look forward to, so this might as well be fun while it lasts.

If you're a buddhist, hinduist (etc...) and you believe in reincarnation, you have a whole new life to look forwards to anyway. And another chance at doing things right.

If you're a scientologist wake up and realize that aliens don't inhabit your body you're possessed by an alien spirit, which is pretty cool... so I guess you should make the best out of that. O.o

So...

any disagreements here?

Don't forget the Mormons Willieh. You have to include all Religions no matter how crazy or unbelievable their beliefs may be.

Personally I believe in God but I don't think he gives a $hit about me. I'm one 17-year-old kid that was confirmed two years ago but hasn't gone to church since then, apart from Christmas's.

Life starts with the letter L.

The letter L.. L..

Letter also starts with L.

Letters.. Letters..

Letters make up everything.. Everything..

The Universe.. The universe is everything.

Therefore, at the end of my outstanding logic, I've summarized that life = The universe.

Aside from that, I think it's pretty obvious that what Willieh's saying is life isn't about what others are, it's about what we make for ourselves. What we perceive our Life is meant to amount to is only what it is for us and so on. On top of that, he's also saying we should take our perception and make it entertaining for ourselves, make it for the moment and so forth.

It's lame, kind of obvious, but kind of true as well. =). I'm also pretty sure I've gotten it incredibly wrong, but the way I interpreted it actually works for me. =).

it makes sence to me what you are trying to say, I'm just not shure how to word it for the people who can't because you said everyting I would say. but the universe isnt everything nor do letters make everything. numbers make everything, nothing else. life doesnt equal the universe because the universe is bigger than life litterally and they have diferent meanings and purposes. if the universe wasnt here neither would we but if life were here we would be. the universe sustains life, not the other way around.

I think the afterlife gets in the way of real life. I mean, whats the point in preparing for something that may or may not exist instead of just living your life

so I fit the atheist description pretty well

however, my dad is a Buddhist who doesn't believe in reincarnation

I dont blame you nor your dad. If people knew that reincarnation was real then they would believe in it. somepeople choose to wait out life to its fullest by going tothe extremes or just reading a good book or something else that they have interest in. most people choose how they live but not how they die. some people think their god says they sould kill then selves for a good cause, like the war in Iraq.
