This is a preview to a new Set and Sub-Type I am making, I hope you like the idea.

Example of Support Cards

And the Link Monsters themselves

[spoiler=Effect]

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Link Summoned by Linking 1 "Samurai" monster to a Continuous Spell card. Increase the DEF of this card by 200 for each "Samurai" monster you control. When this card is destroyed, Special Summon the "Samurai" monster used to Link Summon this card.

[spoiler=The Rules of the Link Monsters/Summon]

1.) If a card states "... can only be Link Summoned by Linking a Dragon-Type monster to a Counter Trap card..." it means that the respective card can only be Summoned when you have just summoned the first card in the Summoning condition, in this case the Dragon-Type monster. Then you Tribute the first monster and the second stated card in the Summoning conditions. In this case you would tribute a Dragon-Type monster, which you have just Summoned, and a Counter Trap card, which can have been on the field for any number of turns. On some cards it may also state that you must Tribute certain monsters, even pay Life Points!

But the Link Summon must be in a direct chain with the Summoning of the staed monster. Example:

You summon a "Samurai" monster and are about to chain a Link monster to it, but your opponen activates "Shrink" for example, "Shrink" is the last card in the chain so you may not Summon the Link monster.

I hope that was enough expanation about the Link Summon.

Link monster are just your regular monster card except for the fact of the Link Summon.

I reserve all rights for this idea, anyone copying will be negged!

Can you only Link Summon if the monster summoned is the last card in the chain? Or can you link summon even if there are more cards chained to the summon but don't remove the required cards for the Link Summon from your field.

EX: You summon a Samurai monster and your opponent chains "Shrink" to it. Shrink is the last card in the Chain but the Samuria monster still is on the field.

Link Summoning huh' date=' I must say I quite like the idea. Oh and before I forget:

Samurai Sensei Kata-na --> Spell card = Spell Card

Just a minor error. A very nice idea, I can't wait to see more.
