JG.
This is, in my opinion, my best sig ever. And to all of you Experienced Sig-makers out there (Meti, Cyber Altair etc.) could you please give me soem tips on lighting, as that is my weak point, as well as blending. This is made on GIMP. Careless Whisper
Well, for lighting, all you have to do is look at the render and follow the lighting on the render itself. There are ways to manipulate the lighting of the render, but you can't change it much. With this as your attempt right now, I would probably say you should read some tutorials on GIMPTalk first before reading more tutorials on other sites. GIMPTalk has a wide range of tutorials useful for beginners. If you would like some, I can PM you some good links to some pretty handy ones. As for depth, I can hook you up with an extremely useful tutorial that deals with all three of what you'd like. It deals with blending, it deals with lighting, and it deals with depth. However, some of the blending effects are alittle advanced for you, some of it I cannot even succesfully do yet either. (For example, clipping masks make me a tragedy.) If you are interrested, please drop a PM by me, and I'll happily oblige to some good ones.

JG.
Yes Meti, I would love those tuts, and Chevalier, I have PS but I use GIMP because of 1 simple thing. It's too darn slow and complicated.
Chevalier
Slowness is a viable excuse. It being complicated is not. You get better, it gets easier.
