Animal's have always been unethically treated, and society functions as such. We have a hurdle to overcome, and Willeh has pointed it out, although in a nastier fashion than neccesary. What we CANNOT do is safegaurd every animal. What we CAN do is do our best to stop as many animals from being hurt as possible. I expect that if we stopped doing downright idiotic things like "Cooking Mama Kills Animals(?)" the public would take us more seriously.
