The World of Yugioh Monsters

This is the world of monsters.

 

Nearly half of it is ruled by Dark Armed Dragon, and nearly half of it is ruled by Judgment Dragon.

 

The rest is just resistance groups like the Nazis and minor warlords like Ocean Dragon Lord - Neo-Daedalus and Infernal Flame Emperor.

 

The world reflects the meta of the actual Yugioh TCG.

The Name of your character is self-explanatory.

 

The Monster should be a monster from the actual card game OR a non-overpowered YCMade monster. Your characetr should be this monster.

 

The Gender is obviously Male or Female. It can also be None, depending on the monster.

 

The Description of character is a description of the character. There are no physical descriptions (after all, we can all just go to lolwiki) except for YCMade cards (because those aren't on lolwiki).

 

All applications must be made on PM. If they are not made on PM (or signature/user title/avatar for the lulz) then it will be denied.

Higher Realm: The banlist. Forbidden cards are in the higher realm, Limited cards are somewhere between earth and the higher realm, and semi-limited cards are still on earth but have the influence of the higher realm.

 

Ascension to the Higher Realm: Being banned or limited. Example: The legendary artifact, the Pot of Greed, has ascended to the higher realm.

 

Vanilla, Toilet Paper, etc.: Most Normal Monsters in general. They are often the targets of discrimination.

 

Action, Activation: When a Spell and Trap Card that depicts an action is used. Example: Mobius let out (activated) a Prideful Roar. Prime Material Dragon got confused and let his guard down, and Mobius easily batted him aside.

Shadow Dragon rested on top of a mountain, watching his loyal minions of the dark carry out his bidding.

It has started, so I'll begin, yes?

 

Rai stared out into the distant beyond. After all, war wasn't easy. Siding against army after army, with no real home. He was sparkling and crackling about, as if something were to happen. A Rogue Doll had appeared, but Rai easily struck it to the ground with a lightning bolt. He then headed in the direction he was facing, to the top of a purple mountain, its tip accompanied by a hazy ring of smog, where the Zombies resided. This was his next mission.

Darkness Dragon Tyrant, one of SD's loyal Shadow monsters, approached him.

 

Shadow Dragon: "What is it?"

 

DDT: "Our enemies the water have been spotted on the outskirts of the city. Neo-Daudleus must me planning an invasion."

 

Shadow Dragon sighed, then replied to DDT.

 

Shadow Dragon: "Bring me Magician of Dark chaos. If anyone can destroy these water troops he can."

 

DDT walked away to do what he was told.

Rai slowly floated along, granted he wasn't gifted with legs. Though legless, he was a fighter. Luckily, his body was illuminated, so he could see his way up the dim path of the mountain. As he got closer and closer, a monster appeared from the midst. It was a measly Spirit Reaper; a monster that could sure take a hit, but couldn't pack a punch. The mindless monster rammed itself into Rai, lightly knocking him astray. He quickly returned to the path, only to receive another off-setting bump. He then gathered his excess electricity into a whip shape as he was returning to the path. He used this whip-like energy to wrap around the Spirit Reaper, shake it up a bit, then send it flying off. After a couple more times of this cycle, he finally reached the tip of the mountain. He opened a large, wooden door, not having a clue of what to expect.

The Higher Realm was so... infuriating.

 

When Vorthal, alias Chaos Sorceror, had first heard of the place, he'd assumed it would simply be an ascended variation of the Lower Realm — even more exciting, even, with battles between the few elite being the most intense possible.

 

However, when he'd ascended alongside his brother, the Dark Magician of Chaos, he'd found the reality to be much different. Battles were strictly prohibited, and peace was eternal. Even when everyone there was a warrior, and there was no environment to damage! In the one place where war was better than peace, there was none.

 

Of course, Ella only made things worse. The Zombie Master was no doubt what made him miss the Lower Realm the most. Indeed, they must have spent only one day together in the secure reassurances of each other's love... not nearly long enough. She was alone now, and he was off-limits; for all intents and purposes, he and Vorthaïz were dead.

 

Vorthal loosed an energy beam at the incorporeally glowing floor he was kneeling on, and then cringed at the horrific scraping sound that followed. Like nails on a chalkboard, but twice as loud, making it four times as unpleasant. The ground, as tantalizingly vaporous as it was, was an utterly impenetrable barrier between the Higher and Lower Realms. Though it seemed only to be a few lights, it could withstand the full might of every Ascended monster, spell, and trap at once — it was the utterly impenetrable barrier that separated him from Ella...

 

An enormous bolting sounded to the northeast; Vorthal's brother had loosed his new spell, Raigeki. Even the most powerful destructive spell in the universe, guided by the mightiest of mages, couldn't create so much as a pinprick in the barrier. Vorthal could sympathize; after all, Vorthaïz had known his lover, Andréa the Dark Magician Girl, for far longer than he had known Ella, thanks to his prodigious evasion of total ascension. Now that he'd finally been caught — probably by a single, impossibly minor slip-up — he might as well never speak with her again.

 

OoC: Setting the scene in the Higher Realm. They just ascended a few weeks ago, BTW.

"Could you slow down, Lord Zerato? Our feet are worn and our strength is all but gone. We need to rest!" Breaker could barely see the bewinged shadow incarnate flying far above him, but he kept shouting as long as he could. Then, it struck him. He could use his spells to carry his voice! He cursed himself for not thinking about it sooner, and thanked his lady Andréa for teaching him the spell those months ago. Still running, he closed his eyes and let the wind carry his words. Soon, the fallen angel rapidly descended from the skies, and stopped just before them. He frowned.

"The Glorious Darkness' mission must proceed, soldiers. His will is greater than that of yours, and even that of mine." He looked directly at Breaker. "Do you want to be hanged for treason, soldier?" Breaker gasped. "No sir, but if we don't rest, we won't be able to exert the Darkness' will properly. We might collapse and fall to the ground." Zerato nodded. "If that's the case, then I will rejuvenate you. Now, go!" He ascended far into the skies again, with the same rapid pace as before. Breaker cursed, but kept running.

In the middle of a Forrest far from civilization as possible five worriers close in on a unknown figure.

"well well what do we have here" on said in a sinister voice.

"its seems like a lowly 'girl' has stumbled on to are mites."

"I am no Girl." the figure said with no emotion in her voice.

"Well we see about that. Get her!"

the worriers charged, the figure took off her robe and reviled her self, she jumped over the main chargers head and slammed him in to a tree with her razor sharp talons. with that she ran off.

She was probably chasing nonsense, but even a possibility, however faint, could motivate her. There was no doubt that the Tower of Babel housed some powerful secret, and that it nearly reached the clouds — the same clouds that separated the Realms.

 

They can catch up once I evaluate the place...

 

Though she was normally not the most woods-wise of the Dark Armed Dragon's elite expedition team, in this case, pure adrenaline was moving her along at a breakneck pace. Love is a ridiculous thing, after all, and it could easily overcome the mere Forest.

 

It had better be there soon...

 

Ella's musings were brusquely interrupted by a series of piercing screams, followed by a windy blur. Without thinking, she called up a Zombie from the ground, but the danger had passed by the time her Plaguespreader Zombie was ready to attack.

 

She blinked in surprise at her own summoning of such a deceptively powerful monster.

 

Well. This will get us moving.

 

"Synchro Summon," she ordered. "Deathkaiser Dragon." She felt a burning green light wash over her, followed by three bursts of light...

 

Now all she had to do was wait for the others.

The doors creaked with a sense of excitement. Inside, there was a long, crimson-carpeted path to a throne at the far end of said room. There resided the leader of the rebels: Goblin King. He was swarmed by other zombies, of whom gave off no essence of importance to Rai. Rai's luminescence made the unimportant zombies cower, while others ran off.

The Goblin King then said, "We make a strike upon Dark Armed Dragon tonight."

"And my service is required for...?" Rai replied in an anxious tone.

"Your job is stop ol' Darkie. Ours is to kidnap the thing closest to him: Konami."

"Okay, let me get this straight. You're hiring me to hold off Dark Armed Dragon, one of the most powerful beings in the universe, while you kidnap his wife as hostage. What are you expecting in return?"

"Full control, baby. Full control."

"You want near half of the world for his wife? That's insane."

"You'd be surprised at the power Konami controls."

"What if Dark just blows this whole kingdom to the sky, whilst saving his beloved?"

"Hopefully," the King bellowed with a sly smile. "You'll be alive to take that task upon yourself."

[Umbra]

Zerato was worried.

 

The Glorious Darkness had not contacted him for days, not since the fallen angel and his soldiers had scavenged the village of magic. There, he had been told to head east, where he had said a palace of great light would dwell. Zerato vaguely remembered something about that place, but his memories were torn.

 

But that wasn't the only reason he was worried.

 

Breaker had been awfully silent ever since they had left the village of the magicians. The Dark Angel didn't know if anything had happened during the battle, but Breaker had changed. Zerato had pushed them on, eager to do what the Glorious Darkness requested, and they had covered a great distance in the last few days. Still, they couldn't afford to rest. Not now, when the palace was only a few days away.

Name: Kaibaman

Gender: Male

Description of character: A wise warrior who is not too powerfull, but he controls the four Blue-Eyes White Dragons. He always wears their spirits with them and can thus always Summon them when in need. He will only do this in an emergency. He is sometimes cruel and dislikes the weak, but he can be gentle when he wants to. In order to protect himself others, he always has an arsenal of Spell and Traps with him.

Gender: Male

Description of character: He is made out of pure silver like all Stardust Dragons. He is a wise, strong but young dragon who never really liked to fight.

Ella was now very glad that Deathkaiser Dragons could temporarily possess other zombies. She hadn't expected to find a Zombie outpost anywhere, let alone in the middle of the Forest — and yet, there they were, deep underground.

 

She then discovered, upon inquiring further, exactly why they were in Judgment Dragon's territory in the first place. Despite the fact that Zombies in general detested light, they evidently sympathized with the Judgment Dragon, as they were plotting an absolutely vile scheme.

 

Worse, it worked. She was already doing everything she could to bargain with the captor of her lover — the Higher Realm — and certainly, the dark Dragon would be far more pliant than the apathetically austere dimension in which the "too-powerful" were kept.

 

{{What is it?}} The DAD respected his vassals, and knew full well when to take them seriously. His beamed thought, spoken through the Jam she'd taken with her, was urgent.

 

 

{{They plan to kidnap Konami,}} she warned. {{Not JD — the Goblin King. JD's next attack will be a diversion.}}

 

There was a long silence. Then: {{...Understood. Withdraw; we'll need our expedition forces if we plan to have the manpower to survive this attempt.}}

 

Was that a test? It was certainly an effective one, if so; he was absolutely correct in saying that the expedition forces would be necessary to guard Konami. {{Gotcha. We'll be right over.}} The Tower could wait; after all, she'd made it this far.

 

Dark Grepher, Armageddon Knight, Phantom of Chaos, and Magical Exemplar were just catching up. She lowered her body, extending her tail as a ramp. Soon, the five had taken off, ready to prepare a defense.

Darkness Dragon Tyrant trudged on through the barren landscape of the dark domain. He had passed canyons, mountains, anything. He was about to enter the lair of the spellcasters when he heard a strange noise. It came from the forest. He walked causiously into the forest and found Hapry Lady surronded by unconcious warriors.

Darkness Dragon Tyrant attacked Harpy Lady with a blast from his shadow powers, since he had 2100 more ATK than her, she sustained a heavy injury, then Darkness Dragon Tyrant toook her prisoneor.
