Rai was more nervous now than ever before. His old missions had been small; his only great mission was with his Gadget friends. Speaking of which, maybe he could call them for some help.

Nah, forget it, he thought to himself, gazing out onto the war field. Judgment Dragon would make the diversion, and, once that was set, he'd go in to stop the big gun: Dark Armed Dragon. While holding off all reinforcements, his employers would sneak in and steal away DAD's beloved.

 

The time was 0:49:27.

 

Rai was hovering down a dark, oddly molded hall with rooms at every interval. He peered into a few, seeing small, young monsters training for battle. This intrigued him in an angering manner. He swiveled around and raced back to the Goblin King.

 

The time was 0:32:08.

 

"Goblin King, you sick freak!!" Rai cried from a door at the right of the King's throne.

"Watch your tongue, mercenary!!" Goblin King's right-hand-man, Il Blud, shouted at Rai from the other side of the throne.

"Now, now, Bluddy. Let's hear why he says such things first." Goblin King turned his head to Rai and glared at him.

"You can't be sending young monsters into battle!! That's suicidal!!" Rai spat to the King. The King bowed his head and sighed.

"They want this," he said, looking up at him sideways. "They want to die protecting their people!!"

"This isn't a mission of protection," Rai cried out angrily. "This is a mission of ransom!! You cannot allow young monsters to take part in this!!"

"Our monster count is low!!"

"How does that matter?! If you need soldiers, don't go into battle!!"

The King gritted his teeth. "Just do your job, peon."

"Either the kids go, or I leave."

"One less nuisance to deal with."

With that, Rai left. But he traveled quicker than normal. He was going to warn his once enemy, Dark Armed Dragon, about the attack. And, if they accepted him, he would help them even more.

 

The time was 0:13:52.

Gearfried was silent. He had no need to speak. He could sense most things around him anyhow, even when moving at this quick pace. He had barely spoken a few words, not even a full sentence, since he took on the title of Iron Knight and clad himself in this steel suit. Others would've called it a prison. For Gearfried, it was peace. A peak of calm in a world of stress and war. Even when fighting, Gearfried's mind was at rest within the armor.

 

And they never stopped running.

he came to the lair of Magician of Dark Chaos.

Er, DMoC is in the Higher Realm. And somehow, I get the feeling that a peon oughtn't have 3400 ATK. But w/e.

 

IC:

 

The Castle of Dark Illusions was mobilizing for battle.

 

The prepared counterattack would be deceptively complex. The premise was simple: fire Swords of Concealing Light at the enemy lines, and then use Drillroids to tear apart the helpless monsters. However, various countermeasures were secretly available. Dark Red Enchanters and Magical Exemplars from the Spellcaster clans, allied with Dark Armed Dragon since the ascension of the infamous "Chaos brothers," were readying mighty Solemn Judgments to stop any negative spells the Goblin lines might have. Hordes of Mad Sword Beasts and Spear Dragons were ready to take on nemeses that had low DEF to begin with, simultaneously damaging the enemy commander. And, of course, there were the mighty Summon Priests, who were working at a fevered pace to produce Stardust Dragons and Thought Ruler Archfiends, which would be instrumental in stopping opponents from working their wills.

 

If the opposition besieging the castle needed particularly brutal foes, Redrum, the Dark Armed Dragon's most powerful general, was available to provide support.

 

Then there was Konami's vanguard. Dark Armed Dragon himself was the most deadly force among it; in addition to brutal combat prowess, he could easily call on the departed souls in the Graveyard to instantly annihilate any threat to his bride. Many of the expedition forces were also present; Ella's squad was, with Ella still Synchro-morphed as a Deathkaiser Dragon. Several had yet to return from their ventures, but most were ready for the defense against the massive assault that was yet to come.

in the secret village of the spellcasters, sits Laral, night's end sorcerer, watching over the graves.

 

he is the secret village grave-keeper with the power to use scynchro summoning.

 

the village is on the coast, on the dividing line between DAD and JD, and has no actual alliance to ether of them. it's borders are protected by a new type of magic recently found in the same place the village was built. it keeps all but the most trained from using magic here. it has been under attack from several of the lower dukes to both causes, but none have taken the place yet. however, there is little doubt that if DAD or JD's armies came personally, they would take the village, but not without great cost, leaving them open to retaliation by the other. so the village is for the most part left alone from any actual siege attempts.

 

the refugees from the various magic towns have been pouring in for weeks now, and with them spelcaster diplomats from the lightsworn have begun showing up, but the queen of the village, tempest magician, has not yet let them have an audience yet

 

Laral has been called by the newly risen Arcninte Magician, currently a duke to divine magician deity endymion, to come to the magical island city of Endymion. and so begins his journey which will, unknowingly to him, start a shift in the balance of power in all of the lower world.

 

but first, he needs to find a way there, getting to a flying city in the middle of the ocean is not an easy task. The message was a general request for all tuner spellcasters however, so he had no reason to rush.

 

 

ooc: Arcninte Magician has a spell counter fueled version of DAD's power, but the fact he has not come to the tcg, and nether has the lord of magician's SD, means a lot of the card needed for the deck are not available, so it is a future event. wether or not it comes at or near the time the tele-DAD deck gets dismantled is a whole different thing altogether.

Sangan looked up at the big office building. It bore these words on its sign:

 

EARTHBOUND INC.

 

Sangan, having consortd with many beings, among them Dark Armed Dragon and Judgment Dragon themselves, wouldn't have cared much about his meeting with the Earthbound Gods.

 

Sangan entered the building and went past someone who reminded him of Junk Warrior except crossed with a bunch of ice, and a creepy-looking dragon with OVER 9000 eyes.

 

The Earthbound Gods, meanwhile were discussing their plans upstairs, on the 20th floor.

 

Ccapac Apu (CA): This is an amazing idea! Seriously.

 

Aslla Piscu: Yeah, like card games actually interest anybody. >_>

 

CA: But we'll make a killing off of cheap-to-make pieces of cardboard! You say that about everything we do.

 

Aslla Piscu: But when have our money schemes ever make us anything?

 

Ccalaiya: That's just happens because those annoying Five Dragons always go "blah blah Earthbound Gods are evil blah" whenever we come up with a money-maker.

 

CA: Dang the government.

 

Sangan: Hello. :|

 

Aslla Piscu: You're here? Well, Cockpack Apu wants has a silly idea here.

 

CA: Hey, it's not a crap idea. Well, here it is...

 

1.) Create a TCG.

 

2.) Explain the rules. (Ends up being exactly the same as IRL Yu-Gi-Oh.)

 

3.) Have Sangan sell the card packs.

 

4.) The first booster pack and its contents: (Will be posted in written cards section)

 

5.) ???

 

6.) PROFIT!!!

 

Sangan: So, the pathetic mailman has to spread around a patheitc card game?

 

Aslla Piscu: *whispers to Ccapac Apu* Told you it was bad.

 

CA: We'll give you his much for every booster you sell.

 

Sangan: Deal.

 

Sangan walked out of the meeting room quietly, doubting he'd make much.

ooc: yeah, I entered. Kills time before I have to go to school in a couple days.

 

 

 

Outer space. The eternal vacuum. Home to nothing. Or so, people believe.

 

I don't actually live there... I was contacted by something out here in

space. Unknown frequencies, and only a recording. It told me,

 

"Your world's fabric is slowly becoming one with the real world. In fact, all

worlds are slowly coming to a halt. All melding into one. But we're planning

to solve this. In 3 night's passing, you will be contacted again. If you have

thought it over and accept, we will begin our plan."

 

It was 3 days since tht fateful call, around the same time. I was sitting outside

of my crappy little house, when Marie walked up to me.

 

"Hey Al. What's up?"

 

I glanced at her face. (She was the cutest here in the Different Dimension. Beats

Roxanne, the D.D. Warrior Lady, by a longshot.)

 

"Oh, not much. Just thinking. I might take a trip soon."

 

"Where to, Alphonse?"

 

"Not sure yet. Not sure how long, either..."

 

"It won't break apart the 3 Survivors, will it?"

 

"No, nothing will break apart the 3 Survivors. You, me, Roy, we're best friends here."

 

"Well, good luck."

 

I threw my shroud over my shoulder, and went to my rooftop.

 

Now it's eight. Let's just wait and see where this goes...

 

*ringing*

Now that voice again.

 

"Have you considered it? We here find it in your best interests."

 

"Yeah, i'm ready." I wasn't sure if I really was.

 

Then, a light enveloped me. I thought I heard Marie yelling something,

but it went so fast...Then, I heard nothing. Not even my own heartbeat.

I soon found myself standing on the tiniest little platform, all alone in space.

I could still breathe. Weird.

 

Before me, I could see into the depths of space. We were above a huge

planet, and I could see a sun behind it. I didn't stare too long, I'd go blind.

 

Somehow I wished I did.

 

I turned around and had the breath taken outta me, I think.

 

 

 

 

Well, when I got back, Marie was on my roof. She was calling out

to me, I couldn't hear anything now this time, except my heartbeat.

 

"Marie, get Roy. We're all going on a vacation."

 

A few moments later, we were all at the boundary.

Below us, a rift opened. It's like standing above glass.

But then, a few seconds later, the glass breaks.

 

We found ourselves in some sort of dark, rocky place.

It was hot, and we were surrounded. It was an encirclement of

Volcanic Blasters, and higher up were a few Darkfire Soldiers

manning a couple Blaze Accelerators.

 

Then, from around the corner, an old friend.

 

"Well, it has been a long time, hasn't it, Alphonse?"

Laral searched the village for any exemplars he could request to get him to endymion, but all the ones he could find were too busy helping the refugees, so he had to think of another way.

 

and that's when he remembered about the spellcasters allied with the Dark Dragon lord. He knew the exemplars here would be far to busy with the refugees for at least several more weeks, but it would only take him a few days if he traveled by his own D.D. powers.

 

he just hoped no one from the other realm follows him out, he didn't want to make trouble for the king, that could get him killed, even if he could steal away the souls he needed to unleash his full power, his claws and teeth were still more than enough.

 

he sliced open a rift, and glided through, closing it behind him.

Alphonse stood up and looked and the fiery warlord ahead of him.

Without shwoing any hesitation, he shouted out to the figure in front of him.

"Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch."

 

Nobody said anything. All that was heard was the roar of a gun in the distance.

 

Suddenly, he blurted, "Hahaha! Welcome back, friends!"

The whole group was relieved, and we started laughing, too.

 

 

A little while later, we were at a campsite at the base of a huge volcano.

We entered a red and black camoflauge tent, to seeThestalos playing with a ball of fire in his hand.

He put it out, and turned to us.

"So, good friends, how can we help you?"

 

Roy spoke up.

"We're only passing through, but it is good to see a nice face around here.

It has been a while since the separation, right? Where the Macro Cosmos fell apart,

and the Different Dimension's alliance with the Monarchs fell."

 

Thestalos nodded.

"Don't worry, friends. I'm still with you if you need anything."

 

Marie started to speak.

"Do you have anything to spare that we could take with us? We were a little short on ammo when we left."

 

The powerful fire warlord went over to a desk and started messing around in a drawer,

when Alphonse felt a little funny. Roy noticed him stumble, and caught him. Al's eyes

became shaded as if he were in a trance.

 

A vision of tremendous power. A second later, he came back.

"Guys, Thesty, we've got to get out of here."

 

He turned back and gave the 3 a funny look.

"Why?"

 

"Trust me. We gotta get out of this tent."

 

He scrambled, nearly falling, out of the small place,

with the others following, puzzled.

 

Before anyone could speak, the tent collapsed in an eletrical blaze.

 

A guard atop one of the watchtowers shouted a fierce call, then

soon after, was blown away by a strong force.

 

A tank-like monster belching fire burst through the gate, but the group was distracted by something else. A small, toy-like robot was standing in the mess where the tent fell.

 

It gave off some bright sparks, blinding the group.

When they could see again, it was gone, on top of the strange fiery machine.

 

Thestalos gave an order.

 

"Prepare to fight!"

 

a blue hue engulfed both monsters, and in the distance, an army was approaching.

The intens blue light grew dim, and in the heart of the light,

was a completely new monster Al, Marie, Roy and Thestalos had

never encountered before. Someone came running up.

 

It was Tenkabito Shien, the impervious warrior.

He quickly spat an order at us.

"You four! Get back to the volcano! This is not a small problem!"

 

He pulled something out of a bag on his horse's saddle.

It was a small monster which looked like, of all things, a scanner.

We were puzzled.

 

"What is it?"

 

He gave us a simple answer: "A Scanner."

He tossed it forward, and it sprang to life, srouting legs.

It shot a blue laser at the newly spawned behemoth that

stood there, giving off an intense heat while powering up.

 

The scanner beeped, and voice could be heard.

 

"Target found: Thermal Genex. Synchronized by a

Genex Controller and Pyro Genex. Can immerse itself in

heat to increase defensive properties and enhance it's attacks.

Multiple long-range weapons."

 

The scanner vanished, and Tenkabito shouted again.

 

"Retreat to the Volcano! We must not let it get into the

inferno, who knows what kind of power it has."

As soon as he said it, he was gone.

 

A fierce blue-hot beam of flame passed where he once

stood. Now, nothing except a scorched strip of ground.

 

Thestalos roared and jumped at him.

"You've got to get to the top of the Volcano! If you can't hold

back this thing and those other monsters out there, throw a

Tri-Blaze Accelerator into the fire! It's our only chance!"

 

He sidestepped another burst of blue flame.

 

"Hurry!"

 

Blaze Accelerators were trained on the mechanical beast,

pouring shells into it's thick armor. Nothing made a dent.

The ones manning it even started to launch Volcanic Shells at

the colossal monstrosity. It only left ash on it's hide.

 

The 3 Survivors ran to the volcano's base, while Thestalos still

fought the tank-like war machine.

 

A few blows to it's cannons, it's treads, nothing. He could only

fight it down as it approached closer every second.

 

Al looked back while running, and began to wonder what might

happen if he did knock that Tri-Blaze in...

As Buster Dragon - Envoy of the Armegeddon, Who looked like a Massive Skeletal Dragon, Flew across the land Near Shadow's Fortress, Kyko, Who was a Centaur, Rode through the Lands, following Buster Dragon along with a white Marshmallow like thing, Marshmallon, who followed Kyko, While in the Sky, he however ran into a Luster Dragon #2, but he batted it aside
