Hello, I'm creating a Set of Cards with Characters and Objects of the Anime "Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle".

You only get to see something by clicking "Click to View" if there is something writen in brackets after the card's name. (Finished) means, the card should be without any OCG errors and shouldn't need to get corrected. But if you find an error on a (Finished) card, please tell me. (New) means, the card was created recently and may still have some OCG, picture or balance errors. Please tell me if you find any errors.

Would be nice to get some ratings, feedbacks or critiques.

Thank you very much for this positive feedback.

 

It's nice that you like my cards, but I also need critique so I can get better at making cards. You say my cards are perfect, but I think there are much things I could make better, if someone could tell me which things are wrong.

 

I noticed myself that I made some mistakes with the first letter of some words (card/Card, as an example) and I'll correct that next time I work on the cards.

 

Right now, there are just 6 cards and I plan to make at least 20 or much more of them (at least I hope that I won't give up my plan).

 

Would be nice if some others would write a feedback, need some critiques.

 

 

(Ah, and one question: Must the tuner monster which is used to special summon a synchro monster be from the same type as the synchro monster? I read something like that, but I'm not sure if it's right how it was wrote)

Does anyone know how to make the "multiple choice effect" - symbol?

Actually, you don't need to capitilize the word "Card". If you look at many popular IRL cards, like Spirit Reaper, card shows up without capitilization, so you may want to change that.

 

On the card, Syaoran, it states, "If Sakura is selected as an attack target you can Special Summon this card." Where can you Special Summon the card from, your hand? your Deck? your Graveyard?

 

Never-Ending Love: This card can only be activated if you have a face-up "Sakura" and "Syaoran" on your field. "Sakura" and "Syaoran" cannot be destroyed by the effect of a card and cannot attack or be selected as attack targets.

 

Kurogane: If this card destroys a monster by battle, decrease this card's ATK by 300. Once per turn, during either player's turn, if this monster has 2500 or more ATK, it can negate the effective of a card that destroys this card, or negate the attack of a monster that has higher ATK than this card. If this card has 2000 or more ATK, neither players take Battle Damage from a battle involving this card.

 

I think I worded Kurogane correctly. If I didn't, I don't think there really is an official way to word it as I have not heard of another card like it. Keep up the good work on cards, and reread some of them and compare them to real cards. :D

I often just try to get the effect of the cards as I imagine it with sentences I read on other cards. I never look if there's a simpler way to subscribe the effect, and that seems to be my bigest mistake.

 

You used "neither player take Battle Damage from a battle involving this card" two times to correct me, but I meant on both cards (Kurogane and Sakura) just that my opponent won't get any Battle Damage from battles involving this cards on his life points (well, it's a little bit different on Sakura. Kurogane is able to destroy your opponents monster, but he can't make any damage on the opponents life points as long as he has more than 2000 ATK. Sakura would'nt even destroy a weaker Monster if your opponent would attack her with one with a weaker attack and also Sakura doesn't take damage on the opponent's life points).

 

Could you (or anyone else) tell me how I have to write the sentences to differ "Battle Damage on the opponent's Life Points" and "any Battle Damage" which also includes destroying monsters (so like Waboku, just that it doesn't help you but helps your opponent).

 

The word "Card" is capitalized also on "Spirit Reaper", as long as one of the card types is described ("Monster Card" "Spell Card" "Trap Card"). Thats also what I meant in my last post, that card types are te only cases to write card with a capitalized C.

 

Sorry if anyone misunderstands what I write, my english isn't the best ^^'

 

 

Edit: Just noticed that Waboku is writen different in English and German. On german, "Battle Damage" means both, damage on the life points as well as destroyed monsters. So if Waboku would be direct translated, it just says that you won't take any battle damage this turn. But now I saw that on the english version of the card also "Your monsters cannot be destroyed as a result of battle this turn." is part of the effect of Waboku, so I know now that german rules use "Battle Damage" otherwise than the english rules.

Alright, I figured it's time I help you with another fix.

 

Fay D. Flourite: This card's name is also treated as "Fay". Each time a Quick-Play Spell is activated, place 1 Spell Counter on this card. Remove 2 Spell Counters from this card to activate a Quick-Play Spell from your Graveyard. This effect can be used during either player's turn. If a Quick-Play Spell is activated using this effect, remove the Quick-Play Spell from play when it is removed from the field.

 

Mokona Modoki (Soel): This card cannot be destroyed by battle. If your opponent attacks this facedown monster, you gain 1000 life points. Place 1 Mokona Counter on this card each time it is selected as an attack target by 1 of your opponent's monsters.

Thank you for the realy nice ratings and comments ^-^

 

I made now a new layout of the first post, hope you like it as it is now. Also made a complete list of all cards I plan to make for this set.

 

Also I reworked all cards of this set, so I hope for some ratings, feedbacks or critiques.

Just after I finished reworking, I noticed that deck is always writen with capitalized D T.T

I'll have to change this on all cards sooner or later...

 

New added: Mokona Modoki Transportation (The maybe longest effect in Yughioh Card Maker's history O_O)
