As he runs he remembers Iwao’s words when they first met. * Iwao: Oh yeah? Well I know Asuka-san from many years, and you consider that you are her friend already? *Laugh*, yeah you must be a worthless like her. Why I’m losing my time with you. Asuka then gets mad and starts to cry. Asuka: Shut up! Ryu is a very kind person and better friend and duelist that what you think, he helps me to become better! Iwao: Yeah? We’ll see, what do you think? Want to duel me?* Ryu:*In that moment I fell angry at him coz he was bothering Asuka, I thought he was a little sheet…But then* Ryu remember the duel he and Iwao had before. * Iwao: *Laugh* First mistake, underestimating me, first and last mistake. * * Iwao: That can’t be all you got, *Laugh*then it was like I thought you are worthless * Ryu: *I know he was incredibly over confident but…then* Ryu remembers again, but this time he stops when he realizes that Iwao was some kind of frustrated with that duel, something was bothering that time, something that makes him fight so angrily and mercilessly, something that causes him pain…something… Ryu: That I’m gonna find out with this duel. *so I must hurry up now.* Turn 9. Hatred Heart, Fighting Spirit! Ryu reaches his locker when he found Ben putting his card inside his locker; he was surprised to see Ryu. Ryu: Ben, you are here, you are late …and you haven’t come to school these 2 days since you lost that duel, are you better? Ben: I’m, there is a reason for me to not coming to school, I was training with my dad, I’ve… Ben looked side to side to see if somebody was there. Ben: It’s a secret m, but I wanna duel Hidoru again so I prepare my deck I mix my old deck with my family deck…I guess I’ve become stronger now. But wait a minute what are you doing here? Ryu: Oh yeah, I’m here for my deck …I…am going to duel Iwao once and for all. Ben was amazed to hear that. Ben: Are you serious? Why are you going to do that so suddenly? Ryu was serious enough to make Ben feel shivers. Ryu: I’m doing this coz I feel I have to, Ben: But you know him he is… Ryu: Not the person that everybody knows, and it is strange, Regardless what did us, I have the feeling that something is not right..I wanna know what it is…I must know…and I don’t know why… Ben: Ok, I’m gonna cover you. I can’t say I understand, but I trust in you and if you have that feeling it must be for some reason…I’ll go and support you as soon as I can I promise. Now go, I’ll tell Rintaro and Asuka.. Ryu took his things from his locker and starts to run again. Ben: And Ryu… Ryu turned to hear what Ben was about to say… Ben: Good Luck… Each one starts to run again. Meanwhile Tenma was walking, while he speaks with someone in his cell phone… Tenma: Seems that I find it…I’m just sending you the direction so the workers can come here and close this place. Voice in the cell phone: Excellent! I just received the direction the workers are in the way…are you sure we have enough time? Golden Knight Dragon and Garth was waiting to fight while XYZ prepares his cannon to attack…Ryu and Iwao’s eyes crosses again…Iwao looked at Ryu angrily, Ryu looked at him exited…and one thing was unsure…Who will Win? Ryu was ready to make his move… Ryu: I activate my trap card “Dragon’s Evasion” [Dragon’s Evasion: Counter Trap Card – Active only when 1 Dragon-type monster becomes target of an effect your opponent controls. Negate that effect], this card cancels your effect before it destroys my dragon… Iwao is upset…he looks at his hand but decided that he must keep his last card… Iwao: Right I couldn’t destroy you dragon with my effect…then I just have to destroy it…With my XYZ. XYZ attack his Golden Knight Dragon with Blasting Cannons!!! XYZ attacked Golden Knight Dragon with its cannons but Ryu once again was ready to intercept Iwao’s attack. Ryu: Not that fast I activate my last face down card… “Holy Ejector” [Holy Ejector: Counter Trap Card - Remove from play 1 monster you control and 1 monster your opponent control. During the respective 2nd standby Phase after this card’s activation Special Summon each monster in its own side of the field.]. With this card I remove your XYZ and My Garth from play. But we are going to recover them in 2 turns. Iwao: Nooooo! You blocked everything I throw you!!! Ryu: And now...it’s my turn. I draw and put this face down. Golden Knight Dragon!, attack him directly, Giga Force!!! Golden Knight Dragon created an energy ball in his hands that expands and it throws it to Iwao. Iwao’s LP goes down to 2000. (4000-2000) Ryu: I survived, so start to tell me how you were in the past? Iwao was still shocked, his eyes have a lost sight…he barely listen Ryu’s word as he whispers Iwao: -Past…so far, then, I was happy then- A Yugioh!: New World Generation Special.Turn 10. Scar from the past. Iwao’s Negative. 7 years ago. ________________________________________________________________ Iwao is coming from a card shop holding a new booster pack he has just bought, he was running happy. Iwao’s Voice: *Back then I was 8. I was different I admit it…although my parent were divorced and used to split my time living with both of them, they were never there for me coz they work and I didn’t see them often, but I has just discovered Duel monsters and that keep my mind out of problems…that was what I thought* Little Iwao run so fast that he didn’t see a fat boy on the corner. He couldn’t stop and hits against him, Iwao was small so he falls on the ground. Bully: Hey look a little rat wanted to push me… Little Iwao, was scared the bully was with two other guy they should be 10 years old or more. L-Iwao: Ah no, I’m sorry…I didn’t want to I just haven’t seen you…I… The Bully take Iwao by its shirt and lift him, he was about to punch him when a voice stopped him. Hans: Hey what are you doing with that boy! The Bully didn’t turn…and was about to punch Iwao when he felt someone touching his shoulder. Hans: I told you, don’t touch Him! Hans hit the bully on the face. The bully dropped Iwao and fell. The other 2 were already beaten on the floor by then…Hazen step near Iwao and ordered all the bullies to leave. Then took Iwao and started carrying him on his back. Some minutes later Iwao haven’t said anything so Hazen ask him. Hans: are you Ok? Iwao agreed with his head. Hans: You don’t talk too much right? What’s your name? L-Iwao: Iwao… Hans: haha that’s funny, So Iwao, why those guys were bullying you? L-Iwao: I don’t know it was an accident…I didn’t… Hans: I understand. I’m gonna stop a little here, then I’ll take you home right? My back needs a rest … Hans and Iwao sit in the grass. Hans: I see you like duel monster, here’s your booster…I’ve noticed is and advance one, but you look to young to play it...How old are you? L-Iwao: I’m going to be 9 in three months… Hans: Oh you are young, I’m 12…so what does an almost 9 years old alone on the streets… L-Iwao: Well…… Iwao and Hans were talking all that day until it was dark; Hans then took Iwao to his mother’s home where he was then… Iwao: *After that it passes 3 months….and that day…* Hans: Happy birthday Little Brother!L-Iwao: Big Brother thanks…so what are we doing in this Card shop… Hans: Well, I’m giving you a very brand new pack today as your birthday present. L-Iwao: So what kind of pack? Hans: One that is special for you …and it is……..this….this machine pack will be cool don’t you think? L-Iwao: Sure… Iwao and Hans were walking as they see the card Iwao just got… Iwao: Look this is “Cyber Vorse Raider”! Hans: Great it is a powerful card…And I got something you can use…here it is called “Actualization!” It is designed to make your monster even more powerful… In that moment The Bully and his minions stepped in. Bully: Hey you! After say that, he hit Hans, and all started to fight. After Iwao finally beat one of the minions, the other one pushed him to the street. Iwao was injured, and can’t see a card coming from the street. In the last Minute Hans jumped in front of Iwao, and help him to get up, but there was not enough time, the card could barely stop and hit Hans and Iwao, Hans protect Iwao throwing him to a pile of garbage, Iwao can’t see anything because when he hit the garbage he become unconscious… A few Hours later Iwao open his eyes, he was in a bed in hospital, he can barely move because of his injures, in that moment he sees his mother sitting in a chair crossing the room with her eyes closed in that moment Iwao’s Father and Hans mother comes from the door, Iwao tried to speak but he can’t and his eyes closes again…as he tried to open his eyes he listened… L-Iwao: *Mom and dad are together, they are not fighting…because of me…but what happened to me… * Iwao’s Father: Oh Susan, we were so lucky that Iwao is still alive, all because of Hans…My son and yours were inseparable since they met each other… I’m so sorry about your lost…he was a hero. Iwao’s Mother: No, don’t tell me! Susan: It happened; my son has just died… Iwao’s Mother: Oh I’m so sorry… As Iwao listened that he was shocked, he regain forces to get up of the bed. But he was totally freaked out…and Crying… L-Iwao: Ha…Ha…Ha…HAAAAAAAAAAAAANS!!!! Iwao’s father took him in his arms and tried to control him but Iwao was totally mad, until a nurse came and medicated him. ____________________________________________________________________ Little Iwao now was in a dark place, he was crying and in pain, wondering why all that stuffs happened to him…in that moment 15 years old Iwao appear behind him, he watched himself at 9 and started to feel sorrow for himself… Iwao: I couldn’t save him; I never could anything for anyone… L-Iwao: That is not the worst thing… Iwao was afraid of his little self. L-Iwao: You not only leave him die, you kill yourself, you kill me… Iwao: I have to I don’t want to befriend anyone anymore, I don’t want to feel the suffering of losing someone I love…I don’t want to, I have enough… Hans: But you haven’t lost me… Hans Spirit appears near to little Iwao… Iwao started to cry… Hans: You always kept me in your heart…I know that coz you still got our symbol… Iwao: The card…but I killed you…If you have never met me you would be alive…and I…L-Iwao: You haven’t turned in what you are right now… Hans: But you can have a second chance and you deserve to have one, Iwao….Iwao… Hans Spirit disappear but Iwao still calling him, but who was really calling was Ryu…Iwao then sees Ryu and wakes up of his dream. Ryu: Iwao, Iwao are you Ok….? Iwao dropped some tears…and smiles as he said. Iwao: Yeah, I just remember a good friend of mine…and the card I drew was his, in my turn I activate, “Machinery Recycling” [Machinery Recycling: Spell Card –Select 1 Machine Type monster from your Graveyard. Remove from play Machine-Type from your Graveyard whose total Levels are equal to double the selected card's to Special Summon the selected card, in face-up attack Position.], I remove a Level 8 and a Level 2 monsters from my Graveyard, to Special Summon, “Cyber Vorse Raider” my Graveyard [Cyber Vorse Raider: Level 5/DARK/Machine/ATK 2350/DEF 1350; Effect: Each time this card destroys a monster and sent it to the Graveyard, you can inflict 700 Damage to your opponent’s Life Points], Now * Hans This is my way to say you thank*I activate “Actualization” [Actualization: Spell Card – Send a Machine-Type monster you control to your Graveyard. Special Summon a Machine-type monster with a level higher than the sent monster, and that has the same name as the sent monster.], so I send my “Cyber Vorse Raider” to the Graveyard, to Special Summon, “Cyber Vorse Raider 2.0” [Cyber Vorse Raider 2.0: Level 7/DARK/Machine/ATK 2850/DEF 1350; Effect: Each time this card destroys a monster and sent it to the Graveyard, you can inflict 1500 Damage to your opponent’s Life Points]… Ryu: Awesome you improve your Ace… Iwao: And you will be the first on feel his power!!! Attack Cyber Impulse Blade!!!! Cyber Vorse Raider 2.0 Cut Golden Knight Dragon in 2 and then blow it…The recoil damage impact on Ryu making his LP goes drastically go down to 650 (3000+2000-2850-1500)Ryu: Damn that was powerful…It really hurt, but your attitude is different now…I like it… Iwao: Yeah well I started to remember how to have fun…like an old friend of mine taught me. Ryu: So you have fun with friends ah? I like this new you…but the duel must end…so I take my turn now..and I draw…My “Garth, the imprisoned Dragon” return because of the effect of my”Holy Ejector”, now I activate “Freedom Heart” [Freedom Heart: Spell Card – Send a “Garth, the Imprisoned Dragon” you control to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 “Crimson Garth, the Freedom Dragon” from your hand or deck.], I Special Summon, “Crimson Garth, the Freedom Dragon” [Crimson Garth, the Freedom Dragon: Level 6/FIRE/Dragon/ATK 2550/DEF 1500; Effect: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of "Freedom Heart". When this card attacks a monster the original ATK of that monster is halved until the End Phase. He left a rose on it…and sits while he looks at the sky. Iwao: Sorry for don’t come in a while…I can’t believe that I was denying my past…I was so stupid…but… In that moment as Hans’s spirit appears behind Iwao, the wind blew some petals of the flower…Iwao saw this and an answer, and leaves…. Meanwhile, Ryu, Ben Asuka and Rintaro were walking home. They were going to Ryu's Uncle Shop, and then to hang out, to celebrate they good job at repairing the classroom. They were also discussing Ryu and Iwao’s Duel. Asuka: So Iwao wasn't bad after all? Ben: I wouldn't believe it... Ryu: Yeah It was a really good duel too, I guess we can start knowing him soon...by the way we are almost at my house the shop is right in... The doors of the Ryusaki’s Shop were closed, In front of it a huge Poster said. Closed soon to be Demolished... Ryu: What?...What Happened here? Ben: It seems like somebody has a huge grudge against you or your uncle. Asuka: But who…can do this and why? Rintaro: I guess I know who but no why… Everyone look at Rintaro Rintaro: Look!...the poster has an emblem…..GCorp… Ben: No way is him! Ryu: Him? Ben: Don’t you recognize it?...Ganter Corporation… Ryu, Asuka and Rintaro: Tenma! Turn 11. Reach the Top! Ganter Tower's Challenge! Ryu hits the wall showing him angry; he can believe Tenma was capable of that. In that moment Rintaro heard a phone ringing… Rintaro: Hey listen! It sounds like a phone! Ryu: There is a phone inside the Shop. Let’s enter, Ryu and the others enter the shop, it was dark and all messed up…. Asuka: Oh my god Tenma messed up everything here… Ryu entered to the shop and answered the phone just to become angrier… Tenma: Oh Ryu, is that you on the phone? Ryu: You! How dare you to call here…what is wrong with you!!! Tenma: Oh that an easy question, I’m bored…I wanna play a game, But I can’t play alone…so I decided to invite you…to my place… Ryu: Oh no, Oh No You really must have serious issues; you are completely insane if you think… Tenma: That’s why I’m giving you a little incentive… Ryu: What? Tenma: That’s right, and these are the facts…in about 6 hours…my father company’s machines, will destroy your uncle’s shop unless you beat me, before the 6 hours say goodbye…then if you are so lucky to win I’ll give the order…to stop the machines…but I’m not stupid…I reclaim field advantage…not go to Ganter’s Tower…I’ll be waiting for you… Ryu: How…? No wait… Tenma: Goodbye Ryu!!! Ryu: No wait…damn he hung out… Ben: Ryu, is everything alright? Ryu: No I’m coming… Ryu goes outside where Ben and the others wait for him. Ryu: I got bad news…You just go home…I got something to deal with…Asuka: Is Tenma right? Don’t do this alone; you have us to help you. Ryu: But, I don’t wanna you to be in danger for me… Asuka: You know that we can take care of us… Ben: That’s right and we are gonna help you anyway… Rintaro: And not just us, we can ask for more help. I’m gonna ask my brother Ben: Ryu…prepare yourself…we still got some time right? Ryu: About 6 hours… Ben: That’s enough time…I’ll go home to find my stuffs…let’s meet in Ganter’s Tower as soon as we can… After talk sometime, Asuka and Rintaro left to its home to search everything they could need. Ben: Well I’ll go too…see you in some minutes… Ryu: Alright, and thanks…and I know why do you want to do this…I understand you… Ben Smirks and left… As Ryu was alone he changed his clothes and begun running to Ganter’s Tower carrying his duel disk. Ryu:*Tenma…I don’t know what you have against me. Not even why you want to destroy my uncle’s shop or what you do with him…but I can tell you what, you are not going to win this…I promise!* An Hour later Ryu and Ben were waiting for Asuka and Rintaro. After they all met at last the four were in front of Ganter’s Tower, a huge building, with a dome on the top… Ben: Well here we are…too sad we couldn’t find more help. Rintaro: Yeah my big brother and Masato were out with their band. Ryu: And we don’t know where Oda lives. He will be really helpful, since he is better than all of us together. Ben: That’s right… But well shall we enter? Ryu: Yes we don’t have much time.Asuka: Look! Asuka pointed to advertising on one of the walls. Asuka: It says that this building will be open to the public on Saturday, which means that there is no one here yet…that’s creepy. In that moment the doors of Ganter’s Tower opened. Ryu: He must be waiting for us…let’s go. As they entered, they noticed that there was no one there. The room they enter to was a big reception where there was a huge TV screen in the middle of the wall and two Stairs on the sides. There was an elevator near the Screen. Tenma face appears on the screen. Tenma: Oh hello, my friends…so Ryu-kun you brought friends…sweet that will make this funnier, for me… Ryu: Tenma! Come down here and let finish it once and for all…. Tenma: Oh no…I wouldn’t be funny I we going that way…remember we are in my place now…so I control the rules here…so what do you say, shall we start our little game? Ryu: Sick bastard…let’s start…then! Tenma: Just as I wanted to hear. And here some little rules…This game is so easy all you got to do is reach the last floor of this building. Ryu: That’s easy I’ll just take the elevator and.Tenma: Nooooooooooooo!...The elevator don’t work…so you will have to find another way. You are using the stairs…and will have to cross through every floor of this building….Oh and one more thing. Only one of the two Stairs you see there will lead you to the last floor were I’m…and then..you got one more thing to deal with…to open certain doors in this game, you have to beat duelist I hired to defend me…But I’m not telling you which of them opens the correct door…so you’ll have to battle them all…So that are the rules…Now let the game begins!!!!!!!!!!! I see you then, if you can get here…Hahahahahahahahahaha Tenma shut down the communication. Ryu: That bast… Ben: Don’t worry, now you have to calm down...if you want to fight well. And as I see it, we will not have the time to go for each of those 2 stairs unless, we separate ourselves in 2 teams. Ryu: I guess you are right. All we need to do is defeat everyone we find out…and then all the doors will be unlocked…so what shall we do. Ben: I got a plan. I will take the left stair; you can take the right one.Rintaro: I’ll go with Ben. Asuka: Then I’ll go with Ryu-Kun…. Ryu: So we agreed, we have 4 hours, this building has 20 floors according to that map, we should be there in less than 15 minutes but we don’t know how many duelist did Tenma hired, and considering he has a lot of money and don’t even care to spend it for a stupid game like this…they can be pros so we are in trouble…. Ben: Let’s make our best now… Ryu: Sure…so shall we start? Asuka and Rintaro: Let’s go Asuka and Ryu run to the Right Stair, while Ben and Rintaro took the left one, a clock in the middle of the reception shows that the time left was 3:56 and Ganter who was seeing everything sits pleased…while he waits for Ryu and the others to arrive.
