Stardust doesn't stop fissure/Smashy because fissure doesn't target unless there are monsters on the field with equal ATK or DEF and you get to choose which one to destroy. Stardust doesn't care if it targets or not.Whether or not fissure gets the job done, Stardust is destroyed. Did you forget that part? Except that it isn't destroyed. Unless you can win that turn, it comes back.not with Macro Cosmos out. And you are telling me even though it is in the graveyard and doesn't come back until the next turn, that it is not technically destroyed, if not just tributed to the graveyard and out of the way so you can have a hayday with Raigeki and Harpies Feather Duster? You said nothing about Macro Cosmos before, and in any case Macro Cosmos is too slow. And Raigeki and Harpie's Feather Duster are banned.Wow. You completely missed the point about Raigeki and Harpies Feather Duster. So, macro is slow? That means if it's out on the field, Stardust Dragon ISNT removed from play? Soul Taker is just one of these cards with a + for the ability to target and a - for the life points. Soul Taker achieves the same thing at the same balance rate.
