Monkey
sorry for the bother... here is my rate of the cards and my vote (note that I'm writing all I see regardless of if its already been commented or not in previews comments):
Primal Release:]-name is good-Level is fine-combination of gold stiker with Limited Edition circulation' date=' good!-Type, ATK & DEF: good!-pic= awesome and you have the pic and name rendered .... another good point-OCG, comments & suggestions (the good part): When this card is destroyed by battle, you can place this card face-down in your opponent's Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Trap Card instead of sending it to the Graveyard. [u']After 3 Standby Phases, force the activation of this card. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, all monsters on your opponent's field are treated as Aqua-Type WATER monsters. Decrease the ATK of all monsters on your opponent's field by 200 points. Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, place the top card of your opponent's Deck to the bottom of his/her Deck and place 1 Level 3 monster on the top of your Deck. Once per turn, during your opponent's Standby Phase, randomly select 1 card in your opponent's Deck and switch it with a card in your opponent's hand. When this card is removed from the field while it is a Continuous Trap Card, switch the Battle Position of all monsters on your opponent's field. the underlined part:All monster on your opponent's field become Aqua-Type WATER monsters and loose 200 ATK. (this would take less space and acording to my reference of "zombie world" in wikia, is correct OCG. also, I think 3 turns is too weak for this effect, it already has the thing that it has to be face down for an entire turn first for being a trap, and I believe that's enough.) black section:(I can't find much use in this effect. is most likely using extra space on the card, sorry) Italic section:(I can't see anything wrong with this part ;) ) this is a 9/10 card for me :D
DeVil Q8:]-name, good-Level, good-Type, ATK & DEF, good!-pic= great and also holoed :D-OCG, comments & suggestions:This is the card I've seen before (realistic section), and I can't say I see anything wrong with it in the description since it has the "This card can only be Special Summoned by" part, that means it can be Special Summoned with monster reborn and other things if it was summoned properly first, it's a temporal shield that is very effective. not anyone can destroy this card by battle but I didn't noticed before that it could be destroyed that way. I would first suggest 2 tokens instead of 3 but that would make it overpowered. so.. It's okay for me :) this card gets a 9/10 from me too... (what can I say? both are good,)
my vote:]I see both cards as equals so, I'll just vote for the one with fewer votes to even it a little. I vote for DeVil Q8. sorry Primal Release ^-^" hope I didn't do anything wrong in this comment. Fair enough, your evaluations are legitimate, your reasons are clear, and you were organized. Nightmarian
PRIMAL RELEASE : Comments : -force activation doesn't exist in YGO..-As long as this card remains face-up on the field -> While this card is face-up on the field would be better..but u don't need to mention that at all..you can just say : all monsters on your opponent's field are treated as Aqua-Type WATER monsters-do u know what your effects activate ALWAYS no matter is this card in Spell/Trap zone or not?? Only last part of effect activates when it is face-up in opp Spell/Trap zone..- Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, place the top card of your opponent's Deck to the bottom of his/her Deck and place 1 Level 3 monster on the top of your Deck.Seriously wth?? From where??? This is so broken part or worded really bad.... you always need to mention from where u select specific card..right now u could take it out from your pocket and place it on top of your deck...-Once per turn, during your opponent's Standby Phase, randomly select 1 card in your opponent's Deck and switch it with a card in your opponent's hand. This is also strange effect..i don't like it..because there is no reason why all this effects are combined one with another.. My comment on your card is that it got tons of effects and it seems that they was just randomly thrown in....which is what i don't like mostly in your card... SCORE : 4/10 DEVILQ8 Comments : You have much better OCG and there is no flaws like Primal Release card have ( for example in part where he didn't mention from where he add Lv3 monster)Your effects seems logical, they are connected one with another and they make really interesting combination.Thing i don't like again is that there is way too much effects..for example last sentence is not needed..what was your reason to add that part? Did u just added that randomly??-thing that is broken in your card is that is unaffected by any card effect with crazy ATK&DEF stats too..which makes it crazy stall..i would just keep it in defense so i don't need to worry about ATK decreases...and since it have 4000 DEF and is unaffected by effects it is almost like immortal...really, really broken You got better OCG and your card makes more sense because effects sinergy is logical.. So u got 5/10 from me and my vote..but like i see it is too late... So if i compare CREATIVITY : Primal Release winsPICTURE : DevilQ8 wins WORDING : DevilQ8 winsSYNERGY : DevilQ8 winsBALANCE : Primal Release wins (because that was probably only wording error so i don't take it as real effect - adding cards from pockets ^^)GROKKAGE : DevilQ8 wins TOTAL : Primal Vs DevilQ8 -> 2 : 4 So DevilQ8 gets my vote!!! I just wanted to say how things really are...i hope no one will get angry because of this...cya!!!
Lord Ursus
If the player opposing "Immortal Being" has Level Limit Area A, Spirit Barrier and Asura Priest, that player has as good as won. :/ I don't see any card squishing "Infested Swap Sludge" at the moment, and I must confess that i like it the most. :) Vote goes to Primal. Err - Mystical Space Typhoon, Heavy Storm, any card that destroys Spell & Trap Cards?Well, yeah the last is pretty obvious and I feel stupid for not thinking of that before, but the first thing doesn't affect the card at all; Asura Priest can attack all its opponent's monsters, and with Spirit Barrier, it's owner won't take any damage, plus it cannot be destroyed thanks to the "Immortal Being"s effect. So it can just wack it silly with attacking, causing the monster itself to be weaker, while bringing out tokens, which will go to attack position thanks to Level Limit Area A. Just repeat that process and your opponent's life points is easy picking.
