Guest
Ok, this was my first ever attempt to do something on GIMP. I just installed it about an hour ago, so this was just some experimenting I was doing to see how well I could do. In my opinion, I think this is pitiful compared to other things done, but I would like some pointers and maybe some advice on how to do better at stuff like this. Hopefully I'll be good enough soon to open shop......... Ok, here it is. [spoiler= The World Ends With You.....] Please tell me what you think. I am open to any form of criticizm. Prada
CS3 Is what you should "get" ;) What's the point in suggesting outdated software? 1. CS4 needs power that some computers do not have. 2. CS2 and 3 are both good enough. Both are also easy to use.

Guest JoshIcy
Get PS.Only way I can help you out =/ As in' date=' that's the only way you can offer advice? Otherwise you're just being arrogant. Gimp is the free one, so get that: www.Gimp.org Lol. GIMP is nice. If not for the fact that I loathe the PS interface, I'd use PS all the time. But I like GIMP's one much more. And as for this.Interesting concept. Here's my little words of advice. (Get a Texture Brush and install it).Grab the Fuzzy Select Tool and select the white area.New Layer.Select > Grow by 1px. Then brush once within that with a Texture brush.Play with it from there, and just ignore text for now.
Kizzi
CS4 is better. It even runs quicker than CS3 on my machine.Edit: It uses slightly more CPU cycles, but it can make use of GPU's better if you have a good one.
