okay so here it is revised

201249ab4.jpg

Card Text:

This monster is also treated as Dragon-Type. This monster can attack your opponent directly. During your Battle Phase, if this monster is in face-up Attack position, it must attack first. When this monster inflicts damage to your opponent, the controller of this card takes damage equal to half this monsters ATK. If this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponents Life Points that would reduce his/her Life Points to 0, negate the attack and end the Battle Phase.

I got rid of summoning condition, should I put it back?

This is a reply to magicmasterp

true, and having 3000 atk leaves a large margin between it and zero, it wouldnt necesarily drop your opponents life points to 500 so you could just wipe them out, because you could end up with 2950 lp left and of course, your losing 3000 lifepoints, even if you go after a monster with it.

i suppose it would be a good combo with a card that you pay life points to attack more than once and then "rainbow life" and bam youve got 10000+ lp and theve got 2999-lp i dont know

how bout OCG or a rating? any one?

Fix:

This monster can only be Summoned by Tributing 3 Dragon-Type monsters you control. This monster can attack your opponents directly. During your Battle Phase, if this monster is in face-up Attack position, it must attack first. When this monster inflicts damage to your opponent, the controller of this card takes damage equal to this monsters ATK. If this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponents Life Points that would reduce his/her Life Points to 0, negate the attack and end the Battle Phase.

Underpowered. It would have you lose in 3 turns or less.

And stay with Thunder for the type. Dragons are WAY overdone.

It is true what DeMeNTed said about everyone doing dragons, im surprized there are any left, so this is what ill do, ill make it thunder, shorten up the effect, and add in that its also treated as a dragon.

but im confused about what demented said about underpowered, because if if i increase the attack, ill lose even faster, what r u saying?

You messed up your OCG after that revision:

Card Text:

This monster is also treated as Dragon-Type. This monster can attack your opponent directly. During your Battle Phase' date=' if this monster is in face-up Attack position, it must attack first. When this monster inflicts damage to your opponent, the controller of this card takes damage equal to this monsters ATK. If this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponents Life Points that would reduce his/her Life Points to 0, negate the attack and end the Battle Phase.

Fix: This card is also treated as a Dragon-Type monster. This monster can directly attack your opponent's Life Points. During your Battle Phase, if this monster is in face-up Attack Position, it must attack first. When this monster inflicts damage to your opponent's Life Points, the controller of this card takes damage equal to the ATK of this card. If this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points that would make it equal 0, negate the attack and end their Battle Phase.

I might of switched something in there, but I think a lot of them are better of fixed like that.

Well the "Rai" part is fine, just "Thunder Dragon", honestly I just tried to make a dragon and my name was "Thunder Dragon" lol. It's very hard to come with another name for them imo.

Maybe it can be like "Harpie's Pet Dragon". Make Rai a person and make this card like "Rai's Thunderous Pet Dragon". Something like that :P

Now you've gone to the other extreme- its now rather broken.

All a player needs to do now is attack twice with it, switch it to defence mode and blast away with some direct damage or another big monster. The loss of 3000 LP is not going to worry anyone (people sometimes pay 4000 for a Solemn Judgement).

The original effect was only weak because of the limit on its summoning. Like I said before the original effect meant it needed to be used concervatively (or smartly).

Here's my rating for each print:

Current (broken) version: 2/10 (broken cards score very low with me)

Original effect: 6/10

Original effect without summon limit: 9/10
