Crystal Beast Support (2 new cards)

Here are a couple of cards I designed to give the crystal beast archtype a boost.

I've added two syncros. (The images are only temporary until I get back to uni and start messing around with photoshop again).

Card text: "This card cannot be Summoned unless you control another "Crystal Beast" card. You can place any other "Crystal Beast" cards used in a Syncro Summon with this card face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as Continuous Spell Cards instead of sending them to the Graveyard. If this card is destroyed while it is in a Monster Card Zone, you can place it face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card instead of sending it to the Graveyard."

Once per turn you may select and activate one of the following effects:

# If this card is in a Monster Card Zone, destroy this card.

# If this card is in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card, Special Summon this card to your side of the field.

If this card is destroyed while it is in a Monster Card Zone, you can place it face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card instead of sending it to the Graveyard.

1 "Crystal Beast" Tuner + 2 or more non-Tuner "Crystal Beast" monsters

Once per turn, you can negate the effect(s) of one Monster, Spell or Trap Card until the End Phase. This effect may be activated during either player's turn. When this card is removed from the field by the effect of an opponent's card, add 1 "Rainbow Dragon" from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand.

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Crystal Beast" monsters

When this card is sent to the graveyard, Special Summon 1 "Crystal Beast" monster from your hand, Deck or Graveyard.

Im reading them properly you dunce

Since you obviously are not I'll explain it VERY slowly for you then.

Diamond Gryphon:

You can't summon this card to the field unless you have another Crystal Beast card on the field- either in your monster card zone or your spell and trap carp zone.

If you syncro summon with this card and other crystal beast monsters you can put the other crystal beast monsters in your spell and trap card zone.

The last part is the normal crystal beast ability.

Glass Swan:

Once during each of your turns you can either destroy glass swan (and put it in your spell and trap carp zone) or summon glass swan from your spell and trap card zone.

The last part is the normal crystal beast ability (which is what allows you to put it in the spell and trap card zone if you haven't caught on yet).

The ideas behind each card are as follows:

Diamond Gryphon:

This card gives crystal beasts a tuner so they can syncro summon without going outside the archtype. It also gives them a nice beat stick.

Glass Swan:

This card gives crystal beasts absolute control over how many cards they have in the spell and trap card zone which is an amazingly potent power with Ancient City- Rainbow Ruins. It is also the ONLY level two crystal beast which means it is very useful with Diamond Gryphon for syncro summoning level 6 syncros.

They are also both 'Crystal Beasts' which means they work with all the archtype cards- Pegasus, beacon, blessing, promise, abundance and (most importantly) Rainbow Dragon.

#1: THE EFFECT CLEARLY STATES:If this card is in a monster card zone' date=' Destroy it IT SHOULD SAY: If this card is in a Monster card zone you can destroy this card YOU MORON THATS WHAT IM GOIN AT YOU DUNCE

[/quote']

You're still not reading it properly because right above the clearly stated effect is another clearly stated effect that you can CHOOSE to use the effect.

If you cannot find a good picture then do not complain about other people downing your current pictures. It is not their fault that these card pictures are not realistic.

Also learn to accept critisim as there is nothing that you can do about it.

Now:

Card 1: The picture is to realistic and no offense but its extremely boring looking and it doesnt look as though it has anything to do with Diamonds. A new one is in order.

Card 2: The picture is to realistic and it reminds me of something that would be in Barney. Please try to find a new one.

OCG Fix:

"Once per turn select and activate one of the following effects:

- If this card is in a Monster Card Zone, destroy this card.

- If this card is in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card, Special Summon this card to your side of the field.

If this card is destroyed while it is in a Monster Card Zone, you can place it face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card instead of sending it to the Graveyard."

(This cards "original" effects are useless in my eyes and is not much of a support. If you activate any of the effects it'll be destroyed anyways since if it is on the field you HAVE to activate effect 1 and if its in the S/T zone you HAVE to activate effect 2 and where do these lead you? What do these do for you? This card almost seems like a desperate last resort idea. It does nothing to improve your play.)

Card 3: The picture needs serious work. Its not all that great and either way you need to crop it.

OCG Fix:

"1 "Crystal Beast" Tuner monster + 2 or more non-Tuner "Crystal Beast" monsters

Once per turn, you can negate the effect(s) of one Monster, Spell or Trap Card until the End Phase. This effect may be activated during either player's turn. When this card is removed from the field by the effect of opponent's card effect, Special Summon 1 "Rainbow Dragon" from your hand or Deck, ignoring the Summoning conditions. This card's effects cannot be negated."

(Dear Lord this effect is OP. Get rid of the last two effect and give it new ones or use drawbacks and big ones at that.)

Card 4: Same as the critism of the above card. And this card's pic has nothing to do with Shimmering.

OCG Fix:

"1 Tuner monster + 1 or more non-Tuner "Crystal Beast" monsters

When this card is sent to the graveyard, Special Summon up to 1 "Crystal Beast" monster from each of your hand, your Deck, and Graveyard."

(Again, this effect is nauseatingly OP. It either needs drawbacks or new effect.)

Bold = Proper OCG
Slash = Get rid of it makes the effect confusing and it is unnecessary

You have a few OCG, terrible pictures, and OP effects. Please do fix.

OMG! Someone actually gave me some constructive critisim. Thank you ^u^.

The picture is to realistic and no offense but its extremely boring looking and it doesnt look as though it has anything to do with Diamonds. A new one is in order.

Too realistic huh? I'll try to make them more cartoony.

it reminds me of something that would be in Barney

LOL. Okay I'll try something else.

OCG's fixed up and effect have been tweacked (haven't uploaded new images yet just changed the post text).

It does nothing to improve your play

I must politely disagree here. Swan's point is to allow you to control the number of crystal beast in the S/T zones so you have much more power over when you use the effects of Rainbow Ruins' date=' crystal beacon and abundance. Also it is a level two monster which opens up more tuning option for crystal beasts (there are no other level two crystal beasts).

give it drawbacks

I think Phoenix already has a big draw back in that you can only run it in a crystal beast deck (I have changed the last two effects though- they were a bit silly weren't they :D)

Anyway thank you for the critisim LLD (plus Rep on the way to you). You'll have to wait for a pic change though as I don't have any way to mess with them at the moment.
