This fanfic's setting is 10 years after Jaden had passed Duel Academy. Synchro cards have been made, and Pegasus had just held a card creation compition. There are many knew talents to the Academy, but there are several people that are takeing the place by storm, and rival even Jaden's dueling prowless while at Duel Academy.

Background: Alexander Drake is a tall, slender young man with a long face. He wears glasses and has Golden eyes with Red hair. He is a talented Duelist as well as card Designer. He has even created several cards in his own deck. It all started when Alexander began to get terrible nightmares. He lost sleep and it began to effect him in more ways then one. One day, he grew sick of it and decided to go to a psychiatrist.

 

The psychiatrist suggested that Alexander draw his nightmares as pictures, so that he could release them from his mind. He went home and tried this right away. It worked for a while, before he had another nightmare, which was the most Terrifying one he had so far. He woke up in a cold sweat and began to illustrate this nightmare as fast as he could. It took him three long days before he was able to finish it and then he fell into a day long deep slumber.

 

A few days later, Pegasus held a card designing contest for the Duel monsters card game. He decided to enter his nightmare monsters, hoping to turn them into something he can use in his duels. Hen Pegasus got a hold of the illustrations of the cards, he was impressed. His and a few other cards were expected to be created as real cards and Pegasus even gave him a deck for his cards to start out with.

 

After a few years passed, he was the top duelist in his school. He got an invitation to the entrance exams for Duelist academy. He was so exited that he got there the night before and camped at the entrance to the examination room. When he took the written exam, he scored a near perfect 99% on the test. However, he was not the best at the dueling proportion of the exams Luckily, he was able to get himself into the blue dorm despite that fact. He is a first year student at duelist academy.

 

 

If it does not follow this format, or I feel that it could be better, I shall ask you to change some things. This is open for up to 4 other Main characters, 5 Main Antagonists, and any amount of side characters (one time appearance most likely)
