Songs of Glass (Sonnet)

Careless Whisper

Recommended Posts

The drums of which sound tribal to my ears,

The strings of tranquility and radiance,

Winds of sound reverberate the soft tears,

The music plays as a bright symphony.

The interesting thing about the chives

is that it never dies nor will it fade.

It is music that drives us through our lives.

It is music that takes our minds away.

Through glass it shines like light through a prism.

Separated so, delicately say,

simply so, perfect subtle rhythm.

Oh, the gentileness will never decay.

Melodicly so, beautifully dass.

So I'm grateful its time will never pass.

(sonnet = poem of 14 lines, each line consisting of 10 syllables.)
