Anyway, congrats to all people that have their cards in, and thanks for everyone, for ones that don't have any card in - try more next time and it will be better for sure....:)

 

For each 3 cards that made in owners will get +1 REP...this also accumulates - if u get in set 0 1 card in game and then in set 1 - 2 cards in game , u would get 1 REP..

 

But this will be discussed 1.2. and all reps will be given at end of this set.

But we must discuss the Draw Vote's situation, and 11 cards was very narrow for A LOT of submitted cards, I know, I just felt sorry for many cards.

Finally, I think that chaosgodkarl will have some things to look at, being the Number 1 Card Reworder. Don't forget guys that I'm Name Advisor, so any cards with weird names could have a better name, just ask me here or on other thread.

About 39, fortycal changed his vote to my card which has the same effect as his, that might have caused confusion, anyway, if you're right please check and tell me, I was bound to make a mistake at such a huge list, you know. :P

 

@chaosgodkarl: Well, you can balance cards that are DEFINITELY in, like Tempest Storm, or cards with no Draw Votes or bad efffects that we will discuss at IRC.

My thoughts on draws:

Cards that tied with other cards should be discussed thoroughly by the top people. Cards that make it into ANY set should be decided in this order:

1. Popular vote

2. "Elite" debate

3. Second popular vote

 

The second step is only necessary in the case of a tie(s), and the third only in the case of a lack of agreement between the project controllers. The third step might only cover one or two cards, which would churn out far more voters, and thus, a more accurate public opinion.

 

I believe this might make the game better, and this voting process easier.

What is popular vote? ^^ You mean normal votes in voting phase? Then for ties we discuss and at end we can add some explanations to each card (why is some better) so people vote again?

Seems fine with me , i think we will solve all problems with ties at 1.2.

 

Also, like Mond told - some of really great cards didn't make in, so maybe we should look at those too and let them slide in ... and i am talking here mostly about creative cards (like that chicken card lol) which is really great to have in game...and probably in some groups card that won are not staples or something so we will need to check it out..

There will be special thread for next phase (and images) but it is ok if u ask here for now..

Also when u guys place images put them in spoilers..

It is ok we make first cards in YCM format then we will cut images from cards and resize them so that they fit to YVD (because YVD needs only that pic in middle)..

I will explain about this more in future...

 

Everyone - you can start getting images for your cards that won and for other people cards too that have won..probably not everyone will find images for their cards, but if for some card there is more images then we will vote for best one... So, anyone can get images for anyone...

And all that will be rewarded with reps also...for each of your 3 pics that made in game u will get +1 REP...

 

p.s. if u make card in YCM format then please save it because it will probably be edited because of wording mistakes..(like on that fortycal86 posted)

Just wanted to say that u guys can look for images even on YCM forums , so if u see that some card here have good image i guess it is ok we take it ;)..

 

And just to make things fair - for cards that have equal number of votes -> for each creator of those cards it will be still counted like that card make in game , even if that card will be thrown out during discussion...

 

So for example that u have 3 cards that have equal number of votes with other cards and neither of your cards make in , you will still get +1 REP .. =)

 

For Golden Tomb and Recycle of Fate , because their effects are equal -> who ever posted that effect first will get his point (i mean on points -> 3 points = 1 REP) , but card will go in game with name Golden Tomb - because people voted for that one)

Ok my plan for discussion at 1.2. , it would go from 1) to last number :

 

1) Discussion about cards that got equal number of votes. a) what we will do with them , b) if we will throw some out , we will discuss which ones and why

2) Discussion about cards that didn't made in , but they are good.

3) Discussion about cards that made in but they need to be rebalanced.

4) Discussion about next phase, how it will go. ( names changing, pictures, rewording, transforming to YVD format etc.)

5) Discussion about our club, ccg points and reps.

6) Party ^^

I love the image for Variable Storm and Gravity Crush is pretty cool as well. The other images could be better IMO. Still the image for Variable Storm has to be one of the coolest images I've ever seen, great find.
