Discussion will be at 31.1. 15:00 ( GMT 0 ) in our IRC channel ... everyone should go there and invite i u, so u can help us and also have some impact on CCG too ;) ...

This are themes we will discuss about :

 

1) Discussion about cards that got equal number of votes. a) what we will do with them , b) if we will throw some out , we will discuss which ones and why

2) Discussion about cards that didn't made in , but they are good.

3) Discussion about cards that made in but they need to be rebalanced.

4) Discussion about next phase, how it will go. ( names changing, pictures, rewording, transforming to YVD format etc.)

5) Discussion about our club, ccg points and reps.

Tutorial for connecting on IRC server using MIRC

 

1. Download MIRC from here http://www.mirc.com

2. Run the installer of MIRC once it’s finished downloading. Follow it’s on screen steps to get it installed.

3. Run the executable file labeled mirc.exe. NOTE: Registration is not necessary, even after the 30 days. There will be a button that you can click to proceed with MIRC.

4. Click on FILE->SELECT SERVER

5. On the upper right corner click on ADD

Here is what will appear and what you should fill in:

• Description: Name of the server (You can write anything)

• IRC Server: Type irc.scrollrack.com

• Port: 6667 (Default)

• Groups: Leave this field blank

• Password: Leave this field blank

6. Click on add, then click on OK

7. Click on FILE->SELECT SERVER

8. Chose a server (profile) you made

9. Double click on the profile

10. Write a nickname then click on connect

11. When you are connected you can register your nickname but it is not necessary if you don’t want to join rooms like #yvd. I would prefer it if you did register your nickname as the server will rename your nick as Guest after a minute. To register your nickname type in /msg nickserv register . You will get a confirmation e-mail sent to you. Follow the instructions of the e-mail and your nick will be registered.

12. Type /join #ccg then press ENTER and you’re in

Tomorrow i will make new thread , post effects of all cards that made in, with their creators names etc.... everyone can start getting pictures for this cards, specially for their own ones..it will be also posted for each creator how many of his cards made in, so REPs will be given..for Voting Phase too..people that was working lot on this can expect lot of reps =))

i would like to inform you all that i would rather stay out of this from now on i will just stay as player nothing else...

 

its not being run properly or efficiently...

 

no offense nightmarian but you have to much control... i appreciate all work your doing and that but you have something to say about everything.. you change peoples cards without any notice,toss out their cards.. you change your mind on dates like i don't no what..

 

i have a question how many of ye decided on the cards at the irc..??

 

you clearly told everyone you were going there on the 1st... then changed your mind... you rushed the voting stage.. over half the members didn't vote..

 

i just think you have to much influence on everything and nobody else can do r say anything without you trying to put your twist on it.. like it took you over a week to agree to a new thread for voting when every other member said new thread..

@Mond - u don't need to search for each card which creator made, fortycal done it, so i am gonna soon post that thread, i am getting now card effects and other stats for each card..

 

Heh, sorry i told it is 1.2. , because i was thinking this month have 30 days, not 31...<.<

That is only reason...and that was my only free day i did have, i am writing for last few hours thread for next phase, while i really shouldn't, i got another exam today..then i will not have time until next weekend..only reason why we needed to do this yesterday is because this set is already taking too much time, and to get more people interest etc...

And we was discussing yesterday for 9 hours, channel was full of people, i think that even 15 people was there..it would be much better that there was 50 though...

And i didn't make decisions by my own, but we discussed each problem together, and voted for each card etc...

Cards wasn't edited by me, but by all people suggestions, it was written that will happen, if there will be problems with voted cards..there is nowhere written we will need to ask that person permissions or something..some cards just have problems so we fixed them instead of throwing them out..we also let lot of cards in that wasn't chosen but was interesting or really good, some edits to them was made too as well....

Too bad u didn't come, u would see it.. maybe Karl will post our whole chat so u guys will see it how it was...

And if u think i got too much influence, i don't, you might think that because i am posting all etc., no one would wanna do all those things i am doing, it is really time consuming and that is why i don't want do it in first place..so i am trying during this set and will try during next sets too, to give parts of my work to other people, so that is not all on my head...

AKC is away, but Karl and Mond agreed to help more, i think there is someone else, but i can't

remember now...

And you should be each day on IRC in our channel, not just at 1st..

 

For voting thread, i already gave my explanation that i wasn't sure will moderators allow it because we are in contest section and this is not contest...and there was voting, will we make new thread or not..i was for new thread if mods allow it, it didn't take us week at all...and because it is first set and all is setting up, that is why is all going slow, i think next set will be much faster...

Tommers2008, it's really bad if you left, you're a great, effective and active member, I guess to need to rethink your decision.

Nightmarian, is trying to make CCG more organized, so he tends to be more leader-ish, which is normal since he's the project leader, and AKC is inactive for a long time.

Moreover, I disagree on the part that he does what he wants with cards, yesterday there were alot of people who voted for effects, name suggestions, tie votes and so on.

We really can't go to each card creator and tell him to come, the announcement was public, and finally, Nightmarian refused to judge my cards since we were only 3 at the end left on IRC, and I originally had a + vote for my cards, so don't really question his fairness.

In the end, I wish that you change your mind and stay as active as you're, and any complaint will be totally put into consideration in the next Sets.

Also, in each thread i made i asked for comments and suggestions...its not my fault you didn't react..and also, it is obvious we cannot accept any idea if it is making all worse instead of better...

I want btw that other people in team support me in this and i hope we are doing all things till now in good way? Any comments , suggestions are welcome...today i am gonna make that thread (when dad comes home) so i hope people will be specially active in that one...

I found one "problematic" card...it is Hell Force..stuff it is , is that is far worse then Mirror Force..stuff is that for example your opponent have 2 Zombie Masters for example and 1 Spirit Reaper and u got only Hell Force fd on your side of the field, he will attack with all of them without any fear that his Spirit Reaper will be destroyed..so this is old version :

And this is my fix :

-so now it doesn't stop low attack monsters strategy's but it stops that u can do what i explained above...

 

So what u people think, should we go better with this version?? And is 1500 ATK ok, or it should be higher...

 

Consider that this is total staple card so it must be limited and cannot be crappy (like 2500 ATK etc.)

 

p.s. write all balance problems here, not in new thread i am making..

There is one major problem with Golden Tomb.

 

I think it should be something like this.

 

Golden Tomb

Normal Spell

Remove 1 level 4 or lower monster in your Graveyard from play, add 1 level 4 or lower monster of the same "Type" from your Deck to your hand.

 

The reason for this is because if cards similar Chaos Monsters, Dark Armed Dragon or something like Monarchs were to be apart of the CCG. It would become very broken.

 

Tommers2008 it would be very unfortunate if you were to leave. I also think Tommers2008 should run the club BTW.

-i think it should be trap, we got enough normal spells that do same thing, so that we have something diff..and this is limited btw

 

 

 

And like i explained already tommers, he cannot run club because it is stupid that i send him updates all the time, so i must wait on him that he edit first post, delete what is not needed, add things etc...while someone other that is more reliable could do it, i am planning to give it to Karl if he will accept, Mond maybe or AKC....club cannot be given to people that just started because they can leave any time so then we need to make another club..i trust to this 3 guys i mentioned more..no offense tommers, i just know them much longer then u..

-maybe it should destroy only monsters with atk 1500 or more too!!! i think that would be best..and we can call it Crush Virus Force :D

- i am suggesting that it returns from the field to deck any monster of the same name, during end phase..right now this card is totally weird ( i mean last part)

Go to Final Phase thread please ^^...there is all explained...and yeah, you can help with rewording...we mostly need pictures -> so try to help in that..in that thread i mentioned are all cards that are in so look for pictures following their names and effects...you can also give other name suggestion and give picture for that name...i believe for some names it will be too hard to find correct picture..
