Brawler_1337
Hey! Brawler_1337 here. You probably don't remember me since I've been gone for a long time... nor have I been an active member of YCM a long time. Anyways, I am currently working on a set that emphasizes Fire monsters (my favorite element besides Dark). Coming into making cards on YCM, I did not expect to be making a set of Realistic Cards (though I'm working on a Shadow of the Colossus set for Pop Culture). But that changed.I'm talking too much. Let's get a look-see at my set. (note: all pictures belong to Father Wolf/wolfberserker unless otherwise stated)[spoiler=Moonlight Dragon, Bringer of Twilight]Pic Credit: http://purgatory33.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/.pond/dragon.jpg.w300h333.jpg (Put short, I found it on Google)[spoiler=Effect]Once per turn, during your Main Phase 1, you can remove 1 DARK monster from your Graveyard from play to activate 1 of the following effects:- Decrease this card's ATK by 500 until the End Phase of this turn. This card can attack twice during the same Battle Phase.- Look at 1 face-down Spell or Trap Card on your opponent's field. If it is a Trap Card, send it to the Graveyard immediately. If not, return it to its original position. If this effect is used, this card cannot attack. [spoiler=History and Notes]This was my first realistic card, and so has nothing to do with the main focus of this set. Yes, I know, the picture is overused, but I didn't know that coming into YCM. Plus, I didn't know what exactly to do - I just found the pic on Google. Also, I know you'll be complaining about the use of dashes instead of bullets for the multiple effects. Well, YCM doesn't have bullets, so I couldn't use them. I went with the best I could. [spoiler=Kirika, Queen of the Space Pirates][spoiler=Effect]Once per turn, you can pay 500 Life Points to randomly select 1 card from your opponent's hand and look at it. If it is a Level 4 or lower Monster Card, you can Special Summon it to your side of the field. Monsters Special Summoned by this effect cannot use their effects, and are destroyed during the End Phase of this turn. If it is a Spell or Trap Card, immediately Set it on your opponent's side of the field. [spoiler=History and Notes]If I remember correctly, this was my third realistic card. I just put it second here because it is the other card that is unrelated to the set's focus. Several users have said that this card is a little overpowered, so I decided to jack up its rarity to Super Rare at the last minute (yes, this is Super Rare, not Common). And now for the main cards of the set. You can call them "Flare" monsters, if you'd like, but I did not refer to them like that on the cards' text. I am reconsidering this.[spoiler=Blaiyz, Cybernetic Flare Warrior][spoiler=Effect]Each time your opponent activates a Spell Card (if it targets this card, its effect is negated), put 1 Firewave Counter on this card (max. 3). During your Main Phase 1, you can activate one of the following effects by removing the corresponding number of Firewave Counters from this card:1 - Increase this card's ATK by 500.2 - Special Summon 1 Level 6 or lower FIRE monster from your hand or Graveyard. That monster cannot declare an attack or use its effect(s) during this turn.3 - Destroy 1 monster your opponent controls and inflict damage to your opponent equal to the Level of the destroyed monster x 200. Skip your Battle Phase this turn. [spoiler=History and Notes]This was my second card, and the card that inspired the set. I had originally intended "Firewave Counters" to refer to the name of his attack, but that changed. One of my most highly praised cards, this one has gone through a number of iterations to perfect. Personally, it's one of my favorites. Again, I can't separate the multiple effects with bullets. [spoiler=Ifferna, Phoenix Flare Sorceress]Pic Credit: teramaster on DeviantART[spoiler=Effect]Each turn, instead of Summoning a monster, you can put 1 Firewave Counter on this card (max. 3). During your Main Phase 1, you can activate one of the following effects by removing the corresponding number of Firewave Counters from this card:1 - Put one Firewave Counter on a face-up card on the field that you can put a Firewave Counter on.2 - Inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each FIRE monster on the field.3 - Destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card. If it is a Trap Card, search your Deck and remove all Trap Cards with the same name from play. [spoiler=History and Notes]I wanted to make a card similar to Blaiyz, one that could work to help him. Ifferna was the result. She is the card that turned this random assortment of cards into a set. There is a little bit of writing in the bottom right hand corner of the picture, but it's white and so small that it's hardly noticeable. Other than that (and the bullet separating thing), I think she's golden. [spoiler=Vurne, Rising Flare Paladin][spoiler=Effect] Each time your opponent Summons a monster or flips a monster face-up, put 1 Firewave Counter on this card (max. 3). During your Main Phase 1, you can activate 1 of the following effects by removing the corresponding number of Firewave Counters from this card:1 - All FIRE monsters on the field gain 500 ATK and lose 600 DEF.2 - Put 1 Firewave Counter on any 2 face-up cards that you can put a Firewave Counter on.3 - Flip all monsters on the field face-up. If 1 or more Flip Effect Monsters are flipped face-up by this effect, toss a coin and call it. If you call it right, negate the effect of all Flip Effect Monsters and destroy them. [spoiler=History and Notes]Vurne is new to the family. He doesn't have much of a history. He is kinda a tribute to the return of Father Wolf's awesome pics, since the pic is one of his newest. Again, the only problem I see is the bullet problem. But I guess I'll be seeing what you think of him soon enough. [spoiler=Power of the Firewave][spoiler=Effect]When you activate this card, put 2 Firewave Counters on it. All FIRE monsters on the field gain 400 ATK for each Firewave Counter on this card. All monsters that you can put Firewave Counters on gain an additional 100 ATK for each Firewave Counter on this card. Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can move a Firewave Counter from this card to another card that you can put a Firewave Counter on. If this card would be destroyed by a card effect, remove 2 Firewave Counters instead. If there are no Firewave Counters on this card, remove it from play. [spoiler=History and Notes]The first Spell/Trap Card of the set. It is also my most recent card to date. I've wanted to use this picture of Father Wolf's for this kind of purpose for a while, but I never really got around to it. This card was definitely inspired by Realm of Light, although it seems to be considerably more powerful. Because of its powerful effect, I made it Ultra Rare (even though Super Rare would have worked just as well). Shockingly, this is the only Flare card that does not have multiple effects (but why would it need multiple effects?)! So, that's all for now. Rate, comment, suggest changes, etc. Hope you like them! There's plenty more to come!

Brawler_1337
Well, if you'd tell me the errors, I can fix them. After all, this is a set in the works. It has room for improvement.
