Right, then. See that first character you picked? Now, I know you like them as is and single, but you're going to have to ship them off to someone of the opposite gender from one of the lists above. And you're going to have to explain why they go together, too, in at least two sentences (omg! the effort!). I will accept "because I didn't want to ship him/her to anyone else. He/she's just too cool!", but think about it — do you really want to say that second sentence?

You made it through the last question, eh? Well, guess what, you have to do it again! :twisted: Don't worry too much, though, it's only your second-favorite character this time around. Y'know, the one you picked in Question 2...? Has to be of the opposite gender, and again, you need two whole sentences (gasp!) explaining why you want them together. I will take "because I didn't want to ship him/her to anyone else. He/she's just too cool!" You will lose considerable face, though.

They don't call the series "Sonic the Hedgehog" for nothing. Don't worry, rabid Shadow fans — in this, you get to choose his life partner. So, if you can come up with a good enough reason, you can ship him with Amy or Bunny or Cream or some other ridiculous character. But again, they have to be of the opposite gender (you can REALLY torture him later), and you need two sentences saying why. I know, so hard. For those who wish to protect Sonic's singularity, you can say "because I didn't want to ship him to anyone else. He's just too cool!" as you're sentences, though you may lose quite a bit of dignity.

If you already shipped Sonic off to someone, skip to the next question.

You thought Question 3 was torture? You ain't seen nothin' yet. Now you have to ship your favorite Sonic character... to someone of the same gender. You have to have one sentence saying why, though I will accept "because I didn't want to ship him/her to anyone else" as a sentence. And if you're homosexual yourself, or you're a yaoi/yuri fan, well... you're already past the worst of it, so now it's your time to shine.

Well, everyone's past the hardest question... and now, the heterosexuals are ready for more brain-rending punishment. Your second favorite character must now take a same-sex partner FOREVER. So choose carefully, and keep in mind a sentence long reason, though I will take "because I didn't want to ship him/her to anyone else". Yaoi/yuri fans and homosexuals need a couple sentences.

Shadow-lovers, if you use your mind, you can have a lot of fun with this one. Sonic has gone gay and needs a male partner, and you get to be the matchmaker. I need a sentence saying why, though, and this time, I won't take "because I didn't want to ship him/her to anyone else" this time. Of course, really rabid Sonic fans can technically use "because I didn't want to ship him/her to anyone else. I have a Sonic fetish." as their sentences, but... c'mon, who wants to admit a Sonic fetish?

Question 1: Knuckles due to the fact that both his arrogance and sheer ferocity in battle also his short attention span (he gets distracted by Rouge to often >.<) coupled with his unwavering loyalty toward the Master Emerald (which he, to put it bluntly, sucks at guarding) make for an interesting and over all hilarious character.

Question 2: Rouge because her hilarious addiction to all sorts of jewelry and Chaos Emeralds and overall kleptomania makes her a great character, and also a character that Knuckles can't do without since she gives him exercise of chasing her all day when she steals the Master Emerald. xD

Question 3: Mostly due to the fact that due to Knuckles anger management issues, short attention span and high arrogance I don't believe that even if Knuckles fell in love any of the characters would really want him. Rouge doesn't count because he hates her guts, despite all her attempts of flirting with him. So.. I can't really ship him.

Question 4: Mostly due to Rouge's devotion to Shadow that she doesn't seem to give to anyone else (and since she isn't really good at making friends, I don't think I see her being devoted to them. The anime doesn't count) I'll have to ship Rouge with Shadow. Mostly due to the fact that the emo self centered artificial hedgehog partnered up with the gothic kleptomaniac thief is a match made in heaven and also Rouge will be able to somewhat "control" Shadow when he's off on his Maria soliloquies.

Question 5: Quite frankly, I don't really know what to ship him to. Amy is a frikkin' stalker, Cream is just... no for Sonic, Bunny... just no. I hardly know a thing about Blaze, so I cross her out. The only real one that I can think of is Sally, due to their implied relationship in SaTaM and also due to the fact that the reckless freedom fighter would fit well with a hyperactive hedgehog.

Question 6: Knuckles with Tails. Because they seem to hang out anyway and are on a "no-kill-with-spiked-fists" relationship I can see room for a... relationship. Also because Tails is always there to help out Knuckles in his mistakes and all that. *shudders at question*

Question 7: Rouge would go well with Wave. Because both have seemingly kleptomaniac tendencies and also love of thievery, they would go well with eachother. *shudders at interspecies relationships*

Question 8: SONIC WITH TAILS. Because Tails is practically his lifelong companion and has been his friend since childhood. And he hangs around Sonic ALL THE TIME. Ooooh, Knuckles isn't going to be happy about this.

Question 9: Ruby because it's... shiny? I've got nothing.

1. Tails. He and I think alike, and we're both geniuses (albeit in somewhat different fields). Also, I'd REALLY like to be able to fly like him.

2. Amy. She's a sweet girl; a bit misguided in her overboard antics to get "her man," but still... Once she finally catches him for good, he may stop thinking it's all bad...

3. Meh, depends. He can't really be paired with anyone but Cosmo if we're talking Sonic X canon, but Cream is a good match when going by the game canon. I can definitely see her taking after her "big sister" and developing a crush on her crush's "little bro" (namely Tails).

4 & 5 (Extra long cuz it sorta answers two questions). SONIC, of course! And anyone who says he doesn't love her back is blind to the fact that he never seems to be angry running away from Amy. He's either nervous... or happy at that point. If the not-so-smart Bowser can figure out to kidnap the girl Mario pines for time and time again, Eggman would do it the instant after Sonic said "I love you, Amy Rose." Thus, Sonic actually runs away to PROTECT her from getting REALLY hurt, because while Bowser is (usually) too stupid to realize he can threaten to kill Peach at any time to get the plumber to do his bidding, Eggman isn't. He's even bluffed it before, calling her Sonic's "little girlfriend" (I don't exactly hear Sonic denying it either).

6. Sonic, as the two are "brothahs from othah mothas," so to speak. It would need to be the pre-Adventure "I'm-so-obsessed-with-Sonic" Tails, too. I can't really see the current Tails fawning over him so much anymore, honestly.

7. Rouge, for more reasons than you think. She's shown she can be motherly, yet flirty at the same time. However, Sonic would have to do something PRETTY drastic to get her off his back.

8. Err... Yeah, basically Tails. They've been like brothers, so they're the only males I could see paired together in the series. But, Tails would still have to be "attached" to Sonic for it to really work beyond brotherly, as they've grown apart in recent years.

9. Umm... Sapphire? Reason 1: It's shiny. (Nothing defeats THE SHINY!) Reason 2: I like Kyogre (he was exclusive to Pokemon SAPPHIRE). Reason 3: IT'S BLUE! (Blue is so peaceful! 8))

My answers:

1) Metal Sonic (I find him THE coolest robot EVER! and he/she/it has an over-evil-yet-not-Eggmanny-personality)

2) Queen Aleena Hedgehog because she is always calm

3) Metal Sonic shipped off with...he seems to have a male gender, so...*DING* Rouge because rouge doesn't seem to have a problem being near robots (E-123) and because she was the first to pop in my mind.

4) Queen Aleena and Shadow because a) sonic would feel so undermined by having shadow as a fatherl figure-thing, and B) Hedgehogs should go with hedgehogs.

5) Sonic should be with Amy to both Embarrass Sonic and Shut amy up. Also because (view answer b to question 4).

6) Metal Sonic and E-123 Omega because they are both Robots. also coz I think with some tinkering robots can switch their psychological genders.

7) Queen Aleena and Amy to REALLY EMBARRASS SONIC (more than Shadow). Also they were the first pair in my mind.

8) Sonic with Chris, reasons: To make a wierd combo. It seems gross for a 10-12 yr old kid to be the partner of a 16+ year old hedgehog.

9)Emerald. Reasons: It's Shiny. My #1 Pokemon is RAYQUASA, exclusive to pokemon Emerald (hey, I sound like Numbuh214). Also: ITS GREEN!:P:P

1. Shadow is my favorite. Reason? Because I love th coldhearted characters.

 

2. Silver comes close in second.

 

3. Ehh, for Shadow I would like him to be single, but since you insisted, I will say he belongs to Blaze through my eyes. Blaze is a really cool character and stays calm and collected. She is also quite misterious with her feelings. She should be with Shadow as calm and misterious partners. I think their relationship would be interesting to evolve and see as the Sonic franchise goes on.

 

4. Silver? Ehh, don't diverse my talk, but I'm going to say he doesn't belong to anyone. It is my oppinion and thats what you're asking. Even if you forced me to tell you an answer for him to be paired with, all I would say is "Forcing such an emotion makes any relationship corrupt and drowned. Even if it is for a fictional character, my oppinion would be let the creator the character choose his/her path."

 

5. Why are you asking this? Ug, well, Sonic belongs with Amy. They always fight together and was together all the time in the sonic series, therefore, since they match even in the series, they match even in my oppinion.

 

6. No. I'm not a fan of this yuri/yaoi stuff. I refuse to give up my dignity to answer such a question. Shipping off such great characters for them to live as yaoi is disgusting. What are you thinking?

 

7. Silver can have Hawk for all I care. I won't give a reason since have none. Hey, sometimes there isn't a reason for everyhting even if you ask for one.

 

8. Sonic can have Shadow. They would make a good gay couple. I have nothing wrong with gays or lesbians, but why would you turn such a great character to a gay fest? Sicko.

 

9. Hmm, I don't understand the question, nor do I know about the gems, so I say Crimson.

Y'know, now that I think of it, I should probably get around to answering this myself.

 

[spoiler=My own 9 QUESTIONS OF DEATH.]

1. While this may have been warped by my profession, I admire Sonic highly for his ability to "role-play" the character the world thinks him to be, despite the traumas related in Sonic X, Sonic Adventure 2/Battle, Sonic Battle, Sonic Unleashed, and Sonic Rush/Adventure.

2. And Blaze is awesome anyway. She's cold, blunt, introverted, really freakin' smart, and acrophobic. ...Now that I think of it, I just like her 'cuz she's like a fire-controlling girl cat version of me. Ah, the pyrokinesis is also really cool.

3, 4, 5. Odd how I can answer these all at once. Don't sue me, though, I have reasons. It's easy to see why Blaze would be attracted to Sonic, since he's really everything she wants to be: socially accepted and happy, while maintaining his intelligence, reflexes, and combat prowess. The reciprocity is a tougher one for Sonblazers, but there is sufficient evidence for multiple interpretations. It could be simple admiration; Sonic respected Shadow highly, and Blaze is just a version of him that's female, has a better temper, and isn't constantly nostalgic. On the other hand, he could also sympathize with her hatred of society, and constant need to mask her true being from the world.

6. Hm... Who do I put Sonic with? Shadow would never accept him, considering how the public loves him... I'd say Metal Sonic in the end, really.

7. Aleena; they're both very calm and collected.

8. Skip'd.

9. Obsidian. a) It's formed from magma. b) It's black. c) Crushed obsidian, like other igneous substances, can greatly enhance soil fertility.

1) Metal Sonic. You think that he's just another ordinary Badnik, but in Sonic Heroes, you see how he's power-hungry and lusts to best Sonic.

 

2) A 3-way tie between Dr. Robotnik, Scratch, and Grounder. Dr. Robotnik cuz he's such a narcasist (however the bloody hell you spell it) as well as KINDA power-hungry. AND in AoStH, he's so stuck up, acts like such an a-hole, and always thinks EXTREMELY HIGHLY of himself. And Scratch and Grounder because they're always bickering and trying to suck up to Dr. R, which normally clashes with their lack of a functioning brain and results in them screwing up SOOO hilariously.

 

3) Metal Sonic is technically an "it", even though he is referred to as a "he".

 

4) Let's be honest. Out of all the female characters Robotnik has ever run into, he's never really fallen in love with any of them. So, I don't think he'd pair up with anyone, not even with someone who is just like him. As for Scratch and Grounder.....yeah.....let's not...

 

5) VELL, SEEING AS HOW SONIC DUNT MIND BEASTIALITY...

 

6) .........a mechanical hedgehog chicken with a drill for a beak? NOOOOOOO THANKS!

 

7) Dr. Robotnik would only take a mechanical duplicate of himself. And even then, he'd probably just bicker with it to the point of dismantling it. As for Scratch and Grounder, see the previous question.

 

8) NOW THERE'S a difficult question. Hm...let's see...Sonic is carefree and stuff...uh....TBQH, i don't really think there's really any other dude that's compatiable with him. Unless you count Manic, but THAT'S HIS BROTHER! >_>

 

9) Not exactly sure what that means. But I'll take a gander. Ruby?
