I meant your CM set' date=' should've been more specific, sorry. What about Psychic and Earth Power?

[/quote']

I think I already tried that on a calc, I'm pretty sure it had bad coverage. OWAIT. You said Psychic/Ground. No love for STAB?

Nah' date=' I meant without CM. More like [b']Sub, Rest, Energy Ball and another attacking move[/b]. Or on the physical side; Sub, rest, Seed Bomb, Zen Headbutt.

Why not Earth Power? It'll pwn a Heatran switch in. I mean it's not like it's a speedy fragile sweeper so coverage isn't what you'd really need. Sides' date=' [b']at 6+[/b] you'd only really need to worry about an immunity.

What 6+?

Also, I have 7 Pokemon left to obtain/EV train in the OU/UU department. I'm working on EVing a LEGIT Shaymin, but no one is nice enough to get me Air Slash.

I can get you Air Slash, but I don't have the flower.

I can provide you with the event to get it...

=o I can get Air Slash on your Shaymin' date=' Dark. Just trade it over, and I'll handle it.

Also, do you guys think I should post my UU Tourney Thread soon, seeing as how Felix's Tourney is nearing its end?

[/quote']

Excellent. Are you on YCM now so we can take care of the formalities? Get rid of Rest, please.

=O I'm quite inexperienced in Doubles, as well. I've just always thought they were interesting.

I've never won a competitive one, but that's because my teams were always geared toward single, so if I brought them into Double, they didn't work right.

I wanna challenge myself by actually making a team designed for Doubles.

I don't think suicide leads in UU will work, so I go with Uxie. Not many UU leads have Taunt, or so I have seen.

Epic statement by Jimmy31428...

"Whenever someone see's a UU, they poke it and expect it to die."

That's why I swept a team with my Absol. 4-0!

EDIT: Lulz, Spleko is an idiot.

Spleko is a huge idiot. Seriously. "I have 2 NU's in my team, so therefore, that balances me having 2 Ubers. Yup. Also, it doesn't matter if you suck at the game, you can still be Elite 4, or Champion. That makes sense."

Honestly.

And yeah, I'm getting tired of the underestimated-ness people give UU/NU pokemon. =/ A lot of them can be amazing if they just get put on the right team.

Like Muk' date=' he's a great UU special tank. I use him in one of my parties, even though he's vulnerable to a good Ground move.

Are you a memeber:?

lol, spleko's an idiot but at least you've bashed some sense into him.

Your not a n00b. Also I think I finished your guys, I can't remember.

Urgent news though, I got to play pwnanewb with my new team. I can tell it'll have it's weaknesses but I think I can work around them. Need to try it out on shoddy.

@Dark or anyone with Pokesav: Could someone try to make some codes that make wild Pokemon with EVs appear? That way I can test out some 1H/2H/3HKO's.

Spleko is actually pretty good, almost had a 6-0 sweep on me.

But Monty came through and knocked out Luc.

Then Nintendo spat us out and bumfucked our game. D:

He is a good player, probably on the same level as Felix, Zex, Dark, and I, he's just a little bit rusty at the game and Hitmontop is win.

Other than that, it was a good match that had very little hax and ended in a gay D/C.

Yay Monty^^ He's easily going to be in my doubles team. I'm looking forward to giving Spleko a shot' date=' he sounds pretty cool at the game.

[/quote']

He's a little set-up greedy, but that helped him because I have no SD Luc counter.

The only thing I don't like is his grammar.

But yeah, Hitmontop is an amazing suprise to pull, and he's staying on my team:

At a glance

Brongzong

Cress

Snorlax

Hitmontop

Heatran

????

Possible Changes:

Brongzong>Gliscor

Cress

Snorlax

Hitmontop

Heatran

????> Kingdra, CBScizor, Zapdos, Evire

As my above team is weak to SD Luc because Zong is running Gyro Ball over EQ because he has shitty Spe and I like the STAB. Although EQ would be much better because of better coverage.

Gliscor would eliminate that weakness by being able to OHKO with EQ, although Zong could 2HKO with EQ and it can live a +6 Crunch.

My team also has no counter for Bulky Waters.

Kingdra can take on the Bulky Waters and stall them out whilst CBScizor is scrubtastic win. Zapdos would have to be sav'd due to the lack of a decent one and my laziness. I am not finding the roaming one, nor am I restarting my Fire Red just to Soft Reset Zapdos to death. Evire would be cool because I love how he works on Shoddy, but I don't have a bait for EVire to nomm Electric attacks.

Am I forgetting any Bulky Water counter?

Please help.

I need to choose between Zong and Gliscor.

I also need a third poke for my offensive core that cannot deal with Bulky waters.

Well Gliscor would be there to stick around for a while (plus it can scout with U turn) not to mention it can be a surprise counter for Lucario with its fairly high Spe. Bronzong, lacking recovery would more than likely drop its sh!t then Explode right? So do you want survivabilty or a nice set up explode job? You could put in both and juggle them around though, that's always an option. It would also stop opponents from just building a team to counter yours (not knowing what might be in there)

For a bulky water counter, cress might do. Just throw a Charge beam on there, take out SR if it's there.

And I'd go for Kingdra for the question mark Pokemon.

That's what I'd do but it's your team.

[b']Survivability is so much better considering Zong's set is:

Stealth Rocks

Explosion

Gyro Ball

Hypnosis[/b]

Cress has Charge Beam. It doesn't always help, especially against CroCune.

And I'd go for Kingdra for the question mark Pokemon.

Should I take my sisters sav'd Kingdra then?

Kingdra @ Leftovers

Naughty (+Spe, - Def)

58 HP/ 212 Atk/ 240 Sp Atk/ 16 Spe

Rain Dance

Waterfall

Draco Meteor

Surf

EV's need to be tweaked, but it's my own original build of a Swift Swim Kingdra.

Rain Dance can be swapped for DDance and the EV's can be changed around. Although Rain Dance makes it win.

Well I'm getting a Kingdra off Zex at some point, see if you can get a clone of it maybe:?

For the RD/DD thing it depends. Are you weak to a weather team or does RD support any of your other guys? If neither of those you answerd yes to, go with DD.

Plus, don't be stingy about asking what I have. I've got a Scizor, Evire and a Zap that I'm not really using. The Scizor is normal Smogon SD set, Evire is Physical sweeper and the Zapdos is a Special Wall.

The Scizor does have a nice trick of luring Fire moves for Heatran as well.

I'm not weak to a weather team, and Rain Dance hinders SpecsTran and Snorlax with Fire Blast.

I'm not used to asking for things, as in YGO you can't ask for much, so I just relied on my crap and scamming kids.

Zappy would be cool, but my defensive core is amazing as it is.

Cress, Zong, and Snorlax cover everyone's weaknesses and can counter Dragons, Skarms, and fast crap like Gengar or Weavile.

Zappy can also stop Skarms but has a SR weakness and I don't have a spinner.

I'm trying to find the IV's for a Gligar I have but it's not working. I've Rare Candied it to 10, and Serebii still is giving me random numbers because it isn't defined.

I'll edit them in later

EDIT: Serebii is spitting out:

20/20/20/20/13/27

HP, ATK, DEF, SPAtk, SpDef, Spe respectively

EDIT2:

23/21/24/20/16/27

I think that's decent enough from being bred on the whims of a 10 year old and her in-game Gliscor.

Go on a level 100 Battle or go to the Battle Tower for level 50 stats. Use those numbers to calculate the IVs. I also have a Gligar and a Bronzong but their EVs will probably won't be what you're looking for.

w/e you want just ask^^ Now I'm sleepy. I hope we can get my recorded battle soon.

I can't get a recorded battle in starting tomorrow. I have job training and sheet in the middle of nowhere with no Wi-Fi.

I have a stocked battle against my cousin that I might post and then I can get a fight with you next week.
