More of the New Toon Monsters from Me!

These are Inspired from the Original Yugioh Series and Card Sets!!

Firstly;

221718bo0.jpg

Effect: This cards name is also treated as "Dark Magician". This card cannot be summoned unless "Toon World" is on the field. This card cannot attack in the same turn it is summoned. Pay 500 Life Points each time this card attacks. When "Toon World" is destroyed this card is also destroyed. If your opponent doesn't control a Toon monster on the field, this card may inflict direct damage to your opponent's Life Points. If a Toon monster is on your opponent's side of the field, your attacks must target the Toon monster.

Firstly they have no individual effects, they both have the 'essential' "toon" monster criteria ( like making a Gemini monster without adding an effect ). It's just a copy from a yugioh card toon monster with no original effect. :?

Average rating for both:

Name:8/10

Stars: 8/10

Effect: 0/10 (same and just copied)

Attribute: 10/10 (copy)

Type: 10/10 (copy)

ATK: 10/10 (copy)

DEF: 10/10 (copy)

Pic: 6/10 (not too good pics)

_________________________________

TOTAL: 52/70

_________________________________

Considering these are just copies, they actual are not your cards ( in some respect ) so this rating goes to original cards.

for better cards:

-use more descriptive and original effects

-make your own card ideas, (not cards from the retro series)

These cards are only good because they are merely cheap replica :? With the same effect, its like putting the fusion cost on a fusion but no effect. :?

Try developing your own ideas into your cards, originality is the key

Epic art.

Also, for the both of them, here's an OCG fix:

"This cards name is also treated as "(toon)". This card cannot be Summoned unless "Toon World" is on the field. This card cannot attack in the same turn it is Summoned. Unless you pay 500 Life Points, this monster cannot attack. When "Toon World" on the field is destroyed, this card is also destroyed. If your opponent doesn't control a Toon Monster, this card can attack your opponent's Life Points directly. If a face-up Toon Monster is on your opponent's side of the field, you must select the Toon Monster as an attack target."

Great pics. You NEED to give them another effect. Since they are both Vanillas in their original form, maybe something like:

~Toon Effect blah blah blah~. If this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, destroy 1 Spell or Trap card on the field.

Yeah, something like that.

I don't think you're all noticing some interesting things about the cards. At least not about Toon Dark Magician.

Think about it. Dark Magic Curtain fetches it and puts it into play because its effect specifically states that the card is also treated as though it were named "Dark Magician".

It can apply the effect of many of the Dark Magician-specific support cards. Even if you don't specifically use it, Dark Magician Girl gets 300 attack from it because it is treated as a Dark Magician, ostensibly putting her at a pretty impressive amount of attack if you can manage to put all your Dark Magicians and Toon Dark Magicians in the graveyard (+1800 attack total).

It can be fetched and played with Sage Stone, particularly if Sage Stone is playable off of Toon Dark Magician Girl (I'm not sure if it is, or not). It serves as a target for Knight's Title, if you're the kind of person to run it. It can be fused for Dark Paladin.

Then there's the toon benefits: it attacks directly and can be fetched with Toon Table of Contents.

At the same time, it loses some versatility the normal Dark Magician has. Prisma can't clone it and turn into "Dark Magician" because its name is not actually Dark Magician, it's Toon Dark Magician, and Prisma doesn't copy effects -- unless, of course, a loophole in Toon Dark Magician's effect allows you to, which I doubt. You can't get it back as easily with something like Birthright or Silent Doom. Then there's the whole Toon World getting blown up and you becoming a very sad person.

Its biggest issue is that there's no real reason why you can't just use three NORMAL Dark Magicians and be okay, since the normal ones have more options.

I go on and on and on. It's a pretty interesting idea, but when you think about it, the only thing that makes it curious really is that it's the same old, with the new Toon twist. You could've added a unique effect to make it worth it.

WOW!

Thanks for really analyzing it for me!

I'm not making toons anymore!

Because of the reasons stated above!

It's hard to make them original without them being too overpowered!

Toons are already OP'd enough as it is!

I thought that the 'This cards name is also treated as "Dark Magician" was enough at the time!

Now I am making Samurai Lords!

My new archtype and booster!

And even Later on a Deck!
