My riddles:

1. A farmer has 3 things to take over a river in a small boat. He has a chicken, some grain, and a fox. He can only take one of these at a time, but if he takes the fox over first and leaves the chicken and the grain, the chicken will eat the grain. If he leaves the chicken with the fox, the fox will eat the chicken. How does he get across the river with all 3 and nothing eaten?

2. What ways more? A ton of feathers or a ton of cookies? Why?

Brad stared through the dirty soot-smeared window on the 22nd floor of the office tower. Overcome with depression he slid the window open and jumped through it. It was a sheer drop outside the building to the ground. Miraculously after he landed he was completely unhurt. Since there was nothing to cushion his fall or slow his descent, how could he have survived the fall?

I got one.

Your mom calls you downstairs for no reason.you listen, go down, then come upstairs again.

Then she calls you down again.you go down, then go up again.

then she yelled at you again to come down.

but instead of Doing all of that, you stayed upstairs.

how many times did you go up/down stairs?

It is simple if you look at a certain sentence.

another one:

a man is walking slow across a sidewalk, and it will take him hour to cross.

10 miles away, there is a car heading toward the sidewalk, and might hit the man.

the cars speed is 5x5-15 = ___MPH.

THe question: will the man cross the sidewalk first, or will the card hit him?

the car will hit him because it takes him 1 hour to cross 10 miles and the car is going 10MPH they will both hit each other

here is one

Times are hard in a small rural town, business is slowing and people are moving out. It so happens that there are two horse-dealerships in town. Unfortunately there's only enough people to support one of the dealerships. So the two owners meet and decide that one of them must leave town. Since neither of them want to leave they devise a competition to see who gets to stay. It is decided that they will race their horses across town. Now they don't want to damage their horses, so they change the race rule so that whoever's horse crosses the finish post LAST wins the race and gets to stay in town. So the next day they set off. Both are ambling along, taking rests and getting nowhere nearer to finishing. After a few hours a wise old man tells them to dismount and gives them some advice. After which the two sprint back to the horses, get on and gallop towards the finish line. Assuming that the race rules were not changed - what advice did the old man give them ?
