lsass.exe virus!

HALP MEH!

So, I get on my computer today, and this error message pops up before I get to the log on screen saying that "lsass.exe" can't allow me to get on because someone changed the admin password. So, naturally, I try to boot up safe mode. Gives me the same message. So, I get on my dad's work laptop, do a bit of of research, and find out that this is a virus. I do more research, and now I'm trying to find out how to get rid of the damn thing. Any help would be aprecciated.

Well, I asked my girlfriend's dad about it (He's pretty good with this stuff) and he recommended a program that could help. So I'mma try that, then maybe take it to Best Buy to get it fixed. I'm also going to try Ubuntu. Thanks for the help guys, really appreciate it.

oh try d/l and booting the system using Ubuntu. If it works then you'll have to reformat your computer but will at least be capable of making a copy of your files.

You don't have to... If you just use your original Windows disk and boot with it' date=' usually, they have a option to reinstall just the system, so that you can fetch your files and do a proper reformat after that.

Eww, don't go to Best Buy. They'll charge you extremely high for them to just most likely reformat your computer. Not worth it.
