lmao, columns is what you're looking for. Columns are vertical, rows are horizontal. That applies to Engineer and Works. I was confused when I saw rows, I was like "uh so it protects the entire monster card line, that's kind of big."

So yeah, columns. That switch is kind of important.

The monsters don't really do much for me. They involve a LOT of positioning and messing around with specific columns. Unless they synergize with each others' positioning (I didn't read them super in-depth, just kind of generalized) then it's a lot of work for not a lot of great effects.

The Deity is a nice heavy hitter for the mini-theme. Dropping his ATK to boost another Phantom's ATK is an okay support effect, and preventing the others from being attacked if you control him and 2 more is nice. The Defense Position self-destruction seems a little unnecessary, but your methods are yours. 7/10.

Engineer is alright. 1200 ATK direct attack capability, and can't be Shrink'd, Book of Moon'd, etc. The Trap effect is there. It doesn't seem to support the other Phantoms, though. 6/10.

The Dragon is.. okay. Going up to 1700 when a left Phantom is destroyed doesn't make him super deadly, I think you're doing too much to compensate for the fact that he can destroy a monster when Special Summoned. That doesn't necessarily mean he has to become garbage once he hits the field. Not being able to be destroyed by battle while a Phantom is on the left is alright, too. 7/10.

The Spell is kind of crazy. It locks down two columns from use, then somehow plans on having an effect revolving around you getting Phantoms in the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Monster Card Zones. Your opponent sends a monster in their 1st, 3rd, or 5th column to the Graveyard, then you're out of luck. The rest of the effects don't strike me as amazing more than situational. You get to Special Summon a Phantom 4 turns after using this card, and you can prevent yourself from being direct attacked if you have this and 2 other Continuous Spell Cards on the field. It does a lot of situational things that require a lot of setup and making sure that your opponent "cooperates" with your requirements. I think you could lessen the specifics on these effects, they're really near-impossible to do. 5/10.

6/10 overall, this reminds me oh so much of my Storm Slashers, but a lot more innovative as to what happens on the columns.
