Radiant F.U.R.Y.™
[spoiler=Effect]Once per turn, if you control this monster on the field, you can equip it to another face-up monster on your field as an Equip Card, OR unequip it and Special Summon it in face-up Attack Position. When equipped to a monster by this card's effect, that monster's Level is increased by 2 and you can pay 1000 Life Points to treat the equipped monster as a Tuner until the End Phase. (1 monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, this card is destroyed instead.) Fog38
I haven't seen to many original ideas lately, but this is an awesome idea. I can't see anything wrong here. 9.4/
Guest Supreme Gamesmaster
Realistic to a fault — that is, OCG and originality are spot-on, but its playability is reduced to booster pack filler. Unions aren't played to begin with, for one thing.Secondly, the number of specialized Tuners is obscene. From versatile, enduring, E-Tele target Krebons, to the formidable E-Tele target Psychic Commander, to the Marauding Captain / Jutte Fighter combo, to the self-resurrecting Plaguespreader Zombie... You don't need anything like this for any deck, as the Tuners do the work themselves. There is an exception, possibly, in the Lightsworn format that will soon dominate the meta, but they have the far superior Lightwave Tuning to assist them.Third of all, it's not nearly as versatile as it seems. Keep in mind that non-Tuner monsters are required for a Synchro Summon. Most Decks would not have such low-level monsters face-up to begin with; certainly, once they did, they would be unable to reuse their Normal Summon. Average fields would have a level minimum of three in Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner; combine Lumina with the monsters she Summons, and you have almost no potential for this card to activate. If Lumina Summoned Lyla, for example, the levels would total nine. Of course, even Lumina's survivability is almost nil, and it can be next to impossible to use a Normal Summon on this to bring out Ancient Fairy Dragon or Black Rose Dragon, considering Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter was Summoned. Lightwave Tuning is a far better option for this Deck archetype, and they're the only ones likely to keep such a low-level monster face-up to begin with, let alone for a full turn. In conclusion: If this didn't use your Normal Summon, and didn't raise the monster's Level, it would be excellent.
