Made for a contest, but now I kind of like it as a single. <_<

[spoiler=Effect]When this Set card is destroyed by a card effect your opponent controls, you can activate this card by revealing any number of Fairy-type monsters from your hand. Destroy a number of cards your opponent controls, up to the number of Fairy-type monsters revealed. If you activate this effect, you must skip your next turn.

Image came from Wolf's Image Archive, like 99% of my card images do.

Critiques and comments appreciated, per usual. Thanks.

Fairy-Type

>"destroyed by a card effect your opponent controls"

sounds a little sketchy to me.

Shouldn't it be "When this Set card would be destroyed"?

"Destroy cards your opponent controls equal to or less than the number of..."

Hm. Unique activation effect...In fact, wouldn't this still be able to activate, even against cards such as Jinzo? >_>

That's pretty sweet.

And the effect is very well tailored for a Fairy deck.

I like it.

^that. Good for fairy decks. I know no one with a fairy deck but it would be very useful if you had one. Pic is pretty cool, though i think I've seen it before. But it does have a very nice effect. 9/10

That would imply that you're chaining the card to an effect that would destroy it. You don't. This activates in the Graveyard (or removed from play' date=' since I didn't specify =P) when it is destroyed, then you choose whether or not to reveal Fairies from your hand (i.e. activating the effect).

Compare to the wording of Hero Medal:

[i']When this Set card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard by an opponent's card effect, shuffle this card into its owner's Deck. Then draw 1 card.[/i]

*thumbs-up*

That was sort of the intention, going under Trap-negating cards like Jinzo and Royal Decree. Graveyard effects are cool.

I was going to put this card in my "balance" set because it constitutes the destruction of multiple cards your opponent controls while breaking even in card advantage, in a way. Your opponent had to use a card in some way to get rid of this, so while losing this card is a -1, it more than likely forced a -1 out of the opponent as well, then you get to exchange your turn for a massive wipeout of your opponent's cards.

And the effect is very well tailored for a Fairy deck.

I like it.

Thanks much.
