My OCG keeps rolling backwards, the more i spend time on this site, And yes, i always forget to put in where you can summon it from, it should be from your hand... Deloge Posted February 23, 2009 Report Share Posted February 23, 2009 if this card can only be Special Summoned by, for example... tributing 2 monsters on the field, that didnt says anything about that the card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. the "can only be Special Summoned by" is pointing towards the "tributing 2 cards". Not "This card can only be Special Summoned. (with a period at the end) This card never said cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. As well, monsters that can be Special Summoned with a "You can Special Summon this card by" is ALSO can be Special Summoned by other card effects like CotH As Long As this card can be Special Summoned by other effects, not only the card's main effect. Your Oei is pointing at "Can only be Special Summoned by tributing 2 level 5 monsters on the field". Which means that card can be Normal Summoned or Set without any reasons but cannot be Special Summoned by a Card Effect There is an error on the first Black Luster Soldier- Envoy of the Beginning cards that there's not a Nomi Rules card on it. Posted February 23, 2009 Report Share Posted February 23, 2009 You still cannot Normal summon or set it, Im sure, and you CAN Special Summon it by monster reborn if it was summoned properly before, If it says this card cannot be Special Summoned EXCEPT by, then you can only special summon it the way written in the card effect and CANNOT be special summoned again by monster reborn, etc, even if summoned properly... play online yu-gi-oh and yu-gi-oh games and u'll know that ^_^ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Look at this, from the Yugioh Wikia: You can identify a nomi monster because it will have, "This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by..." If it looks like I'm being combative, sorry; I didn't intend to do that. All the cards I've seen have to specifically say that they may not be Normal Summoned or Set.
