First Revised Card: Intervention

 

Counter Trap Card

 

(1) During this card's activation, when a card or effect is activated while you control a monster(s): Negate the activation, then banish that card, then inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. (2) During either player's turn: If this card is in your Graveyard: When a card or effect is activated that targets a monster(s), you can banish this card from your Graveyard: negate the activation, and if you do, banish that card (this is a Quick Effect). (3) During either player's turn: If this card is in your Graveyard: You can activate this card from your Graveyard, then banish this card from your Graveyard (this is a Quick Effect). This card's activation and effect is a Spell Speed 3 if you activate a (3) effect from your Graveyard.

Except the Summons (excluding the Summon via effect), the card basically negates everything. Since it requires a (1 or more) monster(s) to be on the field, a bonus to the negation is fine, however both banishing and inflicting damage are in my opinion are necessary. I would keep only two, but I don't think there's any problem with three effects existing.

Yeah, hell no.

 

For the first effect:

It's a Counter Trap, it responds to something, you don't activate and then have it trigger after you use it, like the first effect says to.

It's OP as hell, only needs a monster, which is literally nothing hard to do at all, and negates literally anything, and then it banishes as well as burns.

It also has no OPT on any of the effects.

 

For the second effect:

Oh, because obviously the first wasn't enough and now you need a quickplay negation for literally anything that targets a monster that also banishes whatever card tried to target the monster that literally has no cost at all.

 

For the third effect:

Uh, what is this even talking about?

It literally makes absolutely no sense.

 

tl;dr Why the hell did you post something like this in Advanced, and not Joke Cards?

This card is broken to sheet and has a quick effect on literally every single one of its 3 effects that literally has no once per turn or drawback to anything and can negate, destroy, banish, and potentially even burn for practically anything, and literally anything for the first effect.

 

And why on Earth did you link to Enguin's Divine Intervention thread?

That's not the "original" at all.

You're not Enguin, and your card is nothing near the level of that card.

Why? Because DIVINEs have almost no cards in their type in the first place, they are rarely used, and have a canon reason to have strong support, and also has drawbacks.

What about yours? Yours is a broken-ass pile of sheet that's pretty much the level of Solemn Judgment, and look where that got it.

Banned.

Why? Because it's broken as sheet.

You are right. He already (did) change "After" to "During".

 

On A Original Card: For the third effect, the third effect copy the first effect.

 

On A First Revised Card: For the third effect, the third effect copy the first effect.
