Boss Monsters

What This Thread Is About:

This is an offshoot thread to hold boss monster ideas, as I feel the very idea of a "boss monster" tends to differ sufficiently from what I normally conceive of to deserve its own thread.

Unlike most of my CACs, most cards in this thread will exist as their own win conditions.

They may be more inherently powerful individually than most cards I usually make, but will usually also be weaker when considered in a context of further playmaking. This will be due to them being the "end goal" of playmaking rather than an intermediate step.

"Mid-boss" or "Mini-boss" monsters, defined as those relatively smaller boss monsters that generally push another win condition rather than existing as their own win condition, will be featured in the main thread. As such, most monsters featured here will be of a relatively high level.

You can also Special Summon this card by banishing the above cards you control (in which case you do not use "Polymerization"). Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 monster you control; equip this card to that target, OR: Unequip this card and Special Summon it. A monster equipped with this card gains 1000 ATK and can attack twice during each Battle Phase. If the equipped monster destroys an opponent's monster by battle, after damage calculation: Banish that opponent's monster.

If this card declares an attack against an opponent's monster: You can detach 1 XYZ material from this card; apply the following effect, depending on the battle position of the opponent's monster:

1. Attack Position: Change it to Defense Position, also inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent during this battle.

2. Defense Position: Change it to Attack Position, also if it is destroyed by this battle, inflict damage to your opponent equal to its ATK.

Once per turn: You can destroy any number of cards in your hand or on your side of the field, and if you do, this card gains 500 ATK for each card destroyed by this effect, until the end of your opponent's turn.

Monsters changed to face-down Defense Position by this effect cannot change their battle positions for the rest of the turn.
