Demons have the advantage of numbers, and they are both fire oriented in their attacks. Dragons have the advantage of brute strength, sheer ferocity and unstoppable defense in battle. Since they're scales and hides are nigh impossible to dent and they can breath fire they have no need of other ranged attacks. Also the only magic that dragons use is in hypnotizing beings. Demons are way more centered around magic and sorcery, since their majyk based, and their smaller than dragons, which are huge. They would easily get blasted apart by Dragons' psionic energies, and they only know a bit of magic. >.< Don't know you told you about the "controller of death" stuff. and, @ragnarok1945: Strictly speaking, the one who made this poll was most probably just specifying un-Chimeraesque Demons against un-Chimeraesque Dragons.
