I noticed a lot of people have been trying to make their own Yubel decks. Since everyone's doing it wrong, I think everyone on YCM could benefit from learning what a good Yubel deck looks like. Although I prefer Terror Incarnate Control, everyone seems to like Yubel Phoenix, so I'll put down both builds.

Three Knights, 3 Grephers, and 2 Foolish certainly aren't overkill. When I first began using Yubel, I only ran 3 Knights and 2 Foolish, and it just wasn't enough. If you don't get 2 of the 8 in your starting hand, or at least the hand after that, you're at a huge disadvantage.

I don't like regular Yubel because its main focus is the Ultimate Nightmare, whereas I find Terror Incarnate to be a much safer investment.

I love Inaba because its a 700 ATK direct attacker, and since its also a Spirit, it returns to the hand before Terror can destroy it.

WMCannon is a great choice I've found, even outside of the sub-par Yubel Burn. In Terror Control, you basically manipulate your opponent's choices with Terror, Inaba, and the 3 Solemns. While they're practically a sitting duck, your cannons get counters as well as your Rabbit doing damage. It adds up nicely. These days, the only common thing that will blow up the cannon is Heavy and Stratos.

Also, update on the Sacred build.

-1 Fires

+1 Scapegoat

I realise that, but don't you ever get other times where you have say 2 Armageddon Knights as well as Grepher in hand and end up with many dead cards?

Your scenario is certainly not dead. Summon Grepher, discard Armageddon, send either Yubel or Shaman (whichever is best at the time) to your Grave.
