J-Max
Good evening YCM. This is officially my first experiment with Spell Speeds. I had a few problems trying to work out a balance for having a card like Heavy Storm gain the abilities of a Quick-Play. I also decided to make this card work well with a Macro Strategy but would require a lot of Spells and Traps to be useful.Fleetness means Speed by the way.http://s412.photobucket.com/albums/pp207/YCMArchives/Spellcaster/?action=view¤t=anime_babes014.jpgThis card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing 5 Spell or Trap cards in your Graveyard from play. As long as this card remains face-up on your field, all Spell cards in your hand and on the field are treated as Quick-Play. During each of your Draw Phases you can discard 1 card from your hand to select 1 Spell or Trap card from your Deck and add it to your hand instead of conducting your normal Draw Phase. The Deck is then shuffled. While this card remains on the field Trap cards that you control can only be activated by removing the top card from your Deck from play.

Huntar!
Im aware. Its quite good actually. I dont mess with Spell Speeds though. I feel like Im intruding in Icy's territory there.
Crystal Beast user J
I like it too J-Max. I have a question though. What happens to cards like Swords of Revealing Light (Continuous Spell), Fighting Spirit (Equip Spell), and Black Garden (Field Spell)? Maybe you could say something like: "As long as this card remains face-up on your field, all Spell cards in your hand and on the field, other than Continuous Spell Cards, Equip Spell Cards, and Field Spell Cards are treated as Quick-Play." Also, I believe Cards should be capitalized and you should say "Spell Cards" after "Quick-Play." Still, 9/10.:D
Amaterasu
This card is a 8/10 it is slightly underpowered because it won't last long enough to make much a difference but other than that it is good. I like quickplays.

Yeah... He made this overpowered. The compensation isn't even a bad thing. You can make this into a rather well... Great Deck with just this card. What you did was give Spells extreme speed (Quick-Plays are Spell Speed 2), and allow them to be played on your opponents turn like Trap Cards. Discarding for a free spell? Ooh!!!! Lets dump the Vanilla Exodia Pieces for Dark Factory! I get to thin out my deck and get my cards back ^^... Yeah... A lot of other combos, but this thing is just overpowered. Period.Kudos to the effort though.
