There will also be support cards later. The effects of each are going to be based on a word starting with their letter. If "Unown - T" and "Unown - K" are on the field, increase the ATK of this card by 1000. Effect: Once per turn, for every card you control with "Unown" in its name, you can send one card from your hand to your Graveyard to remove 1 card from your opponent's hand and put it on the top of their Deck. Effect: When your opponent Activates a Spell or Trap Card targeting a monster with "Unown" in its name(except for this card), you can pay 800 Life Points to negate and destroy the card. If "Unown - O", "Unown - P", and "Unown - E" are on the field, all damage inflicted to your Life Points by battle with this monster becomes 0 as long as this card remains on the field. Effect: Once per turn, place 1 Draw Counter on this card (Max. 3). Remove 1 Draw Counter from this card to draw 1 extra card during your Draw Phase. If this card destroys a monster by battle, you can pay 200 Life Points to draw 1 card. Effect: Once per turn, during your Main Phase, if you control this card, you can equip it to any "Unown" monster you control OR unequip the Union equipment and Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. While equipped to a monster by this card's effect, increase the ATK and DEF of the equipped monster by 500. (1 monster can only be equipped with 1 Union monster at a time. If the equipped monster is destroyed by battle, destroy this card instead.) Effect: When this card is Summoned, you can pay 1000 Life points to Summon 2 Unown Tokens (Spellcaster-Type/Level 3/ATK 1000/DEF 0) in face-up Attack Position on your opponent's side of the field. No monsters you control can be selected the target of an attack by an Unown Token. Effect: Once per turn, if an Unown monster(except for this card) is selected the target of an attack, you can make put this card in Defense Position and make this card the target of the attack during the Damage Step only. Effect: When this card is Summoned, increase your Life Points by 500. If "Unown - E", "Unown - A", and "Unown - L" are on the field, increase your Life Points by 2000 instead. When this card is destroyed, remove it from play. Effect: When this card is Summoned, place 1 Impel Counter(Max. 12) on 1 monster your opponent controls. When the number of Impel Counters on the card is equal to the Level of the selected monster, remove all Impel Counters on the card to take control of it for two turns. Effect: When this card is Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Level 6 or Lower monster by removing from play 1 monster in your Graveyard. If there are no cards in your Graveyard, destroy this card. Effect: When this card is summoned, you can show your opponent your hand. If you do, you can look at the top 3 cards of your Deck and rearrange them in any order. Psychics are the only type so far that actually has a coherent theme: pay LPs to activate an effect; the stronger the effect the greater the amount of Life Points. Some of the bigger Psychics have LP restoring effects, but not too much. This is evened out by the support s/t cards, which usually use Psychics to gain a lot of LPs. Now, if you have Psychics that don't require LPs to activate their effects, or just not enough, it would be slightly overpowered, considering some of the support cards psychics have. But Unown C's negation is rather Overpowered, on it's own. I would change it so that it only negates Spell/Traps that target Unown monsters except this card. PyroWildcat Posted March 12, 2009 Report Share Posted March 12, 2009 I really like the route you're going with these cards, with using effects that have something to do with a word beginning with the letter an Unown represents. Not to mention some of the words and corresponding effects are pretty clever(I'll have to admit that I had to go and look up Impel). That said, there are just a couple things I want to either ask or point out: - "side of the field" is now just "field". Just a little OCG I wanted to mention. - "Unown - I" doesn't seem to have any way to add any new Impel Counters after it is summoned. Am I just missing something or was your intention to summon multiple "Unown - I" to use its effect? - Considering the ATK you'd be losing and the fact that it can only be equipped to other "Unown" cards, you can probably get away with raising the ATK/DEF boost of "Unown - E" equip effect.
