Zigzix
If I can recall correctly I think you need some sort of card... I may be wrong thoughEDIT: It was either R4 or M3 :?
SushiTheLegend
Yeah I reread a PM on DGEmu and it's a Flash Card but I'm having difficulty finding such.
J-Max
You need a Flash Cart. I would recommend the M3 DS Real that I have. You can also buy a GBA Expansion for GBA games. Next time I go on MSN i'll give you a Link to a trustworthy seller of them which I use.
Brushfire
I recommend Cyclone DS. http://www.pcjerry.co.uk/ezflash3in1.html It's what I'm buying and also what Matt has.
SushiTheLegend
I don't trust anything relating to Draco. Besides I need a Normal DS flash not a Lite.

Haha, you fail to realise that he's actually a cool guy when not being a dick. And I've read reviews on it anyway, it looks good. And it works on a normal DS; the game carts are the same. >.>
SushiTheLegend
It says it is supposed to work on the normal, but not confirmed.
Brushfire
When I buy it I'll try it out on my old DS. Great price though, £50 for 4GB. ;D
SushiTheLegend
Bit out my price range.
TAG
OR you could WAIT for a DSi, where the roms will probably be even easier to use thanks to the oh-so-freakin' genius move to put an SD slot on it.

J-Max
DS can play Roms using a Flashcart. The extensions to the files are .nds
SushiTheLegend
Well I've already bought the normal DS now, and as long as I can play meh games, I could care less about the DSi.

SushiTheLegend
I was looking up on that one, it didn't appear to support GBA games though.
Brushfire
Posting for Matt here: Oh Bloodrun' date=' I love you too. How've you been? Anyway, the best flashcart is the Cyclo DS-- hands down. Neither the R4 or M3 are supported or updated any more, so you'll find some of the ROMs won't work on them. Cyclo will NEVER have this problem as long as you keep updating the firmware. Another reason to keep updating the firmware is their frickin' features list. http://www.cyclopsds.com/cgi-bin/cyclods/engine.pl?page=products-cyclodsevolution There's so much you can do with it it's not even funny. Realtime Save/Load is a lifesaver. Full support for as many codes as you can load on it (http://cheats.gbatemp.net/). Now if you want to play GBA games on your flashcart too, you're going to need the EZFlash v 3in1. The Slot-1 on a DS CANNOT play slot-2 games. It's just how it works, deal with it. There's not really an alternative to the EZFlash, so just get it. They're around 20USD. http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.2967 If you want a MicroSD card for your Cyclo, check this out: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820208453 If you want nothing to do with me, you might as well committ suicide; I'll be around for a while. Or you could change your mind and realize that I'm not the jerk people make me out to be. Cheers, everyone.[/quote']

And from what James has told me his plays his games fine.
Brushfire
Which is all well and good, until you download one of the latest games to find it unplayable on the R4. =\
SushiTheLegend
Screw the R4, James even said it's crap.
Brushfire
I meant the M3, sorry. Neither the M3 nor the R4 are updated anymore, Cyclo is the only one that's updated regularly to play every DS games.
SushiTheLegend
Seems that it's even more expensive than the M3 and the M3 comes with both DS and GBA support.
Brushfire
But the M3 isn't updated anymore, so you may have troubles when trying to play one of the latest games. =\
SushiTheLegend
Meh...maybe, maybe not. James plays some of the latest games and I think they play fine.
