Exiro
The fact that Caius/Raiza exist doesn't make Zaborg any worse than he was before. Hogwash' date=' good sir. Power creep makes older, less useful cards obsolete, and those with some resistance to becoming obsolete can become more useful than unilaterally outclassed cards, and therefore "better".[/quote'] This would only count if the new stronger cards have to purpose of countering the less useful cards, like Stardust Dragon. Also, there are Rock-Type monsters that work much better in the Dark Gaia strategy than Granmarg, so wouldn't that make him obsolete as well? Shadowstorm
The good thing about kuraz is that if you have any tokens you don't want, you can destroy them, and then draw 2 free cards :D I only have one caius though,i am buying the deck,i still regret losing my thelasltos(whatever) when i was 5,i traded it for Blue eyes XD

No, it wouldn't. If a card is outclassed in every way by a new card to the extent that there is no logical reason to ever use the old card due to its complete inferiority, then that card has been made worse by the release of the replacement; it has lost all usefulness. A good card is one that is both balanced and useful. The former attribute is constant; the latter, however, can be reduced by the cardpool. Also' date=' there are Rock-Type monsters that work much better in the Dark Gaia strategy than Granmarg, so wouldn't that make him obsolete as well?[/quote'] Depends on the build. For example, not many campaigned the restriction of Destiny Hero Disk Commander when it was first limited. However, within a short bit of time, we got both Limit Reverse and Graceful Revival. Likewise, isn't that the entire reasoning behind the restriction of Phantom of Chaos?
tonisanoob
In zaborgs defence, he can be put into some monarch builds that lack lights for chaos sorceror, but thats it really! raiza > caius > thestalos > mobius > kuraz > granmarg + zaborg i feel mobius > kuras as mobius albeit not THAT good, is still very sideable, as kuraz really is a very specialist card, which lacks the splashabillity of mobius

Tabris
Monarchs minus Kuraz and Granmarg (and probably Zaborg) are the epitome of good card design for one-tribute monsters. That much.
