Forum Suggestion

I was browsing through the forum, and everything seems to be in place, when a suggestion popped in my head.

1) The show case area, you should have 3 separate parts, GFX, drawing, and photography. That way, the showcase area will be organized, and artists will know where to put their art in the correct spot.

2)Also, there should be just a general writing area as opposed to 'fan fic'.

Why is that?

Although fanfics are good for those who have there own story Yugioh based, it should just be in general so that way if someone wrote an excerpt, or a poem, it could also be posted. (I know, it's a Yugioh fan forum, but believe me, it'll be good idea for the forum.)

Furthermore, the RP area should be in it's separate forum rather than a sub-forum, since it's irrelevant to the only YuGiOh! based fanfic.

as for the RP area' date='no agree,it isn't really big enough to have a section of it's own and it is kind of like a fanfic except you can decide what happens and not only up to the writer

Last time I checked, RP had 200.000+ posts, making it second only to Realistic Cards and General.

I support suggestions 2 and 3.

BlackMagicianGirl, the RP isn't yugioh based but the fanfic part is, if you read it, it says 'yugioh based' >.> If you can't find it then I'll gladly take a screenie.

Parallel Yoshi, no it wouldn't.

It's only boring to have fan fics only based on yugioh.

General based is better, so that way you have multiple writings on different topics, it wont get spammed. D': I own a forum, and so far general is better, because it'll include fanfics, poetry, stories, excerpts as opposed to JUST having fanfics only yugioh based.

That's why it tends to have Pokemon and other anime based fanfictions?

I don't read the fanfics, I just skimmed through the titles, but I assumed that whoever made the fanfic forum stated 'related to yugioh' in the description, that the fanfic was and is based on yugioh. I'm most likely not the only one that assumed it.

Despite that fact, it should STILL be in general writing.

Why?

Because there are also writers out there who don't write fanfics, but more so poetry, or small excerpts, and would like to post them except there isn't exactly a place for it all.

It feels great to have a solid arguement ignored by another members. Thanks for making me feel welcome, Avanz.

But really, I said "pointless" because there are currently no rules against stories of other kinds (I just checked the section in question).

It's talking about having a forum strictly for Creative Writings (poems, short stories, etc) It would cut down alot of the future ones in the General Section...this way we have a designated place to put poems. Basicly

However, I do have a better idea. Have an entire "Creative Writings" cetagory. It's sections would be "Roleplaying" "Fan-Fiction" "Poetry" "Short Stories" "Literacy Discussion"

So yeah.

I just post my crap in General.

I agree for a Literature section in Multimedia or whatever it is called.
