Nightmarian
Hi...i got some inspiration so i made cards about ice....my idea was that ice melts ( so that is why player removes 1 ice counter from the field each turn) , and monsters that are frozen cannot move...Also, i wanna mention that this kinda mechanic comes in game, then every card that mention Ice Counters should also mention their rules, they work even if there is no face-up card that says they need to be removed , monsters cannot attack etc.... So, this is not for TCG, because in TCG there are Ice Counters already...;)Just to mention that monsters can change battle position with card effects but they cannot change their battle positions without them...Also, this card could be used in any deck, so that was my idea, to make some set of cards that can be combined with anything, enable creation of new decks, but that also work together really well too....I will improve this set from time to time, depending on how people will like them....so lets start already ^^ p.s. i will fix later remaining OCG errors, it is 1:42 AM here so i am heading to world of dreams... Any monster with Ice Counters on it that battles with this card is destroyed without applying damage calculations. ( Monsters with Ice Counters cannot declare an attack or change their battle position. During each End Phase turn Player removes 1 Ice Counter from the field.) Once per turn, you can select 1 face-up monster and place 2 Ice Counters on it. This card gains DEF by number of Ice Counters on the field x200. (Monsters with Ice Counter on them cannot declare an Attack or change their Battle Position. During each End Phase turn Player removes 1 Ice Counter from the field.) When this card is Summoned, you can switch 1 face-up monster on the field to Defense Position. This cards Level increases by 1 for each Ice Counter on that monster. ( Monsters with Ice Counters cannot declare an attack or change their battle position. During each End Phase turn Player removes 1 Ice Counter from the field.) This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or flipped face-up. Once per turn, you can Tribute 1 monster with Ice Counter(s) to Special Summon 1 monster from your Graveyard with Level equal to or less then Level of Tributed monster + number of Ice Counter(s) that was on that monster. Once per turn, you can remove all Ice Counters from 1 face-up monster to lower that monster's ATK by 400, and inflict 300 damage to your opponent, for each Ice Counter removed. When Ice Counter(s) is placed on this card, you can place them on other face-up monster instead. ( Monsters with Ice Counters cannot declare an attack or change their battle position. During each End Phase turn Player removes 1 Ice Counter from the field.) This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that this card is Summoned or flipped face-up. When this card is Summoned, you can distribute 2 Ice Counters on face-up monsters on the field. When monster with Ice Counters is attacked, you can discard this card to increase its ATK by 500, during Damage Step, for each Ice Counter on it. ( Monsters with Ice Counters cannot declare an attack or change their battle position. During each End Phase turn Player removes 1 Ice Counter from the field.) You can Special Summon this card by removing 1 Ice Counter from monster(s) that have total Level equal to Level of this card. When this card is Summoned place 1 Ice Counter on all face-up monsters on the field except this card. When monster is Summoned, place 1 Ice Counter on that monster. (Monsters with Ice Counters cannot declare an Attack or change their Battle Position. During each End Phase turn Player removes 1 Ice Counter from the field.) 1 Tuner with Ice Counters + 1 or more non-Tuner monstersWhen card effect is activated, you can remove 1 Ice Counter from the field and switch this card to Defense Position to negate that card activation, effect and return it to top of owner's Deck. Then, place 1 Ice Counter on 1 face-up monster on the field. (Monsters with Ice Counters cannot declare an Attack or change their Battle Position. During each End Phase turn Player removes 1 Ice Counter from the field.) During each Standby Phase turn Player can distribute up to 2 Ice Counters on 2 different face-up monsters on the field. If monster have number of Ice Counters equal to or more then their Level, it is destroyed. ( Monsters with Ice Counters cannot declare an Attack or change their Battle Position. During each End Phase turn Player removes 1 Ice Counter from the field.) Place 2 Ice Counters on 1 face-up monster on the field. (Monsters with Ice Counters cannot declare an Attack or change their Battle Position. During each End Phase turn Player removes 1 Ice Counter from the field.) When WATER monster is Summoned place on it number of Ice Counters equal to half of their original Level. WATER monsters with Ice Counters cannot be destroyed as result of battle. (Monsters with Ice Counters cannot declare an Attack or change their Battle Position. During each End Phase turn Player removes 1 Ice Counter from the field.) Ice Counters from monsters that are in same column as this card cannot be removed by any card effect. During your End Phase place 1 Ice Counter on all face-up monsters in same column as this card. (Monsters with Ice Counters cannot declare an attack or change their Battle Position. During each End Phase turn Player removes 1 Ice Counter from the field.) This card can be used to Ritual Summon any Ritual Monster. You must remove number of Ice Counter(s) from the field that are equal to Level of Ritual monster you are Ritual Summoning. Remove from play 1 face-up monster on your side of the field with Ice Counters on it. Draw 2 cards, and inflict Damage to your opponent for each Ice Counter that was on removed monster x300. During this turn, place 1 Ice Counter on any monster that you Summon. ( Monsters with Ice Counters cannot declare an Attack or change their Battle Position. During each End Phase turn Player removes 1 Ice Counter from the field.) Remove all Ice Counters from the field and inflict damage to both Players equal to the number of Ice Counters removed x400. (Monsters with Ice Counters cannot declare an Attack or change their Battle Position. During each End Phase turn Player removes 1 Ice Counter from the field.) Activate when your opponent's monster attacks. Place 1 Ice Counter on each face-up monster your opponent controls. (Monsters with Ice Counters cannot declare an Attack or change their Battle Position. During each End Phase turn Player removes 1 Ice Counter from the field.) Select 1 face-up monster on the field and equip it with this card. Monster equipped with this card is unaffected by effect of Ice Counters. When equipped monster is removed from the field, you can select 1 other face-up monster and equip it with this card. (Monsters with Ice Counters cannot declare an attack or change their Battle Position. During each End Phase turn Player removes 1 Ice Counter from the field.) Nightmarian
Added new cards : Twin-Blade Warrior, Kateshia, Crystal Dragon, Freezer, Hell's Goulash, Glacial Tower, Mountain Shelter.... Comments, ratings, and i also accept other suggestions how i could improve this.....for detailed comments and ratings i give +1 REP as reward... Thanks in advance :) p.s. now i see that i copy/pasted by accident wording with error..it should be on all cards : Monsters with Ice Counters cannot declare an attack or change their Battle Position. ( and on some cards, attack is capitalized , which is wrong )
Saiba Aisu
Not bad - the concept is interesting, particularly the regular by-turn removal of Ice Counters. The images are decent, too. However, the cards themselves are kinda slow... Where did you find the image for Blizzard?
Nightmarian
Heh, i doubt any of this images was used on this forums...at least, i didn't see them....and no idea how to get better ones, because this ones are fitting totally....all is from MTG except Blizzard Dragon..:) (now i remembered that i need to give credits xD) p.s. what u mean cards are kinda slow?? U mean, they get slowly advantage?? I don't think so...they are really balanced, and to use their real power u need to be good in deck building...and i mean this to submit for CCG , so that is why i lowered down power even more..and my idea was also that some combination of few of this cards can be used in other decks, that means, this cards could make many different decks .. Saiba Aisu
By slow, I mean that TeleDAD rapes this Deck. You have no consistent drawing power, since most of your regular Ice-Counter placing depends on that Field Spell. And yes, the images are nice. You can check out my own Ice Set to see what I mean, though. http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/thread-90949-page-6.html
Nightmarian
Uh, oh...TeleDad is broken deck..most of cards in that deck are limited/semi-limited/forbidden in this format , so that deck is much weaker now....I still think good built deck around Ice Counters would have a chance...why? Because it slows down opponent as well, while i can manipulate with that control, and turn it to my advantage... Obviously, you would need to use only few of this cards, not focus deck totally on Ice Counters...Still, i wanna ask u , i guess u are TCG player, would u be interested in dueling against me with YVD program?Stuff is that i will transform this cards to YVD.set, so you can use TeleDad and i will use my Ice Counters...i think it would be interesting :) And btw, what u mean that it all depends on that Field Spell?? oO I wouldn't even use that card in my deck... Most of this cards can work in any deck, you pick 1 , place it in, and it works... My idea was not to make set of cards that would in combination of them all make a deck that works...;)It is possible to do deck that totally focuses on Ice Counters, but still, pro player would use only 1/3 of this cards, it is always like that because there are way better staples and options.. Saiba Aisu
TeleDAD was only the most powerful and consistent Deck the game had seen in a long, long time. I'm sure that with this banlist, its power drops by a lot - but still, not many of these cards are good enough to take down Lightsworn Decks, which are top tier now.Generally, Decks that "slow the opponent down" don't work very well, and that's considering the fact that there's lots of useful negation.I'm pretty familiar with YVD 8.6/9.0, thanks - I have managed the creation of some thousand anime cards for our Academy setfile, the early compilation and full-time editing of our TCG/OCG/CCG setfiles, and the compilation of all of our images.Yeah, I play TCG. Do you? I find that playing top tier Decks really helps you improve your cardmaking, since you know what the format could or couldn't use. As to your other comment, why would you ever run these cards in anything but an Ice Counter Deck? Most of them are dead draws, anyways, outside of an Ice Counter Deck. I'll even adopt your own set-grading rubric: OCG: 3/10 (I'm assuming that you're foreign, right? There's nothing wrong with that, but it's no reason to mess up on OCG so badly.)Pictures: 3/10 (You should really try and avoid using images from other games unless you absolutely have to.)Creativity: 8/10 (I really like the idea that ice "melts". Although I wouldn't use it myself, since I prefer undying winter, it makes sense. You've got pretty bad effects for most of them, although Avalanche Goblin is nice.)Balance: 4/10 (Most of these are pretty bad and would end up getting crushed by top tier Decks. It's wrong to counter broken cards with bad cards - that doesn't help anyone.)Overall: 18/40 You might want to improve these a little. Keep up the effort! Nightmarian
Sorry, but you really don't know what are you talking about ^^...and again, my cards WAS NOT FOR TCG, but for CCG, so your balance score fails..OCG is not 3/10 for sure =/...some cards are perfectly worded, some of them are not yet updated..For picture comment, why you use pictures from other artists then?? You should do them by yourself..it is same thing..
Saiba Aisu
Don't be sorry for me, lol. Be sorry for yourself, because you're obviously some half-wit noob. xDAnd alright, then... This is the Realistic Cards section, meaning that any cards submitted here are reviewed under the standards that they would actually be printed. Your OCG is pretty bad, especially on Freezer. No, they're not perfectly worded, not at all. And if you haven't updated them, you blame me for marking you appropriately? Not all people are artists, obviously. Instead of just stealing images from other games because you're too lazy, try and find some, and even possibly edit or color them. I do my own colorings, sometimes. Search for Infernal Avarice in Realistic Cards... >_>It's not the same thing at all.
Nightmarian
Wow..what that i say to u that i lost like more then of 100 hours to get good pictures for this set..=/ If u didn't know, pics for MTG are made from artists, and those artists usually submit their pics on deviantart.com, and at least 20% of pics on this forums are from that game....and there is nothing bad in it, it is nowhere said in rules that we cannot use them or w/e...And, yay, like few colored pics makes some difference.... You obviously got mad because you couldn't accept my low score for your set, and i was being totally honest with you, and that was my opinion.....and if u want the truth, i even gave u more then u deserved...;pAnd u are again, proof that stars/status or w/e here don't mean a thing...:)
Saiba Aisu
I didn't lose 100 hours looking for those pictures. I just know where to look, lol. It doesn't matter if they're from artists - you're using images that have already been used before. It isn't said anywhere, but the good card maker tries to find original images.Actually, coloring your images show effort, something that you obviously don't understand. No, I'm not mad at you, merely trying to show you why you're wrong. D:Well, I tend to not care about the opinion of bad Ygoz, sorry. No offense, guy, but I've been making good cards since before you even joined... Anyways, I'm done posting here. Trolls like you tend to die when left alone, so that's what I'll do. Nightmarian
Lol...see, you again saying same thing : " I am better, because i was making cards before u joined."....And i was making cards outside of this forums, for a long, long time u know...-.-All my pics are original, because they wasn't used on this forums yet..and that was only important to me... And good thing u gonna stop spamming my thread with your trying to show me where i am right xD

There are some ocg errors(Mainly grammar), the pics are all quiet good, freezer is op'd despite cards not being able to attack with ice counters it's still op'd in my eyes.. But overall i think this is a good job... 8.5/
