DeMeNTeD's Card:ih1tlg.jpg
Lore]This card can only be Summoned if there are no Thunder-Type monsters on the field. Once per turn, if this is the only monster you control, you can skip your Battle Phase to destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field. If you do not use this effect, this card must attack during your Battle Phase. If this card attacks a monster your opponent controls whose ATK or DEF is higher than the ATK of this card, you can pick up the top 6 cards of your Deck. If 3 of the cards picked up by this effect are Monster Cards and the ATK of 1 Monster Card is higher than the ATK of the targeted monster your opponent controls, this card is not destroyed by battle (Damage calculation is treated as 0). After this effect resolves, send all cards picked up by this card's effect to the Graveyard.
Lore]

This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand the Battle Phase of the turn this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up. If this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up, destry all face-up monsters on the field except this card.

Actually' date=' david has 2 errors:

destry = destroy (spelled wrong ;))

except this card = (excpet this card)

[/quote']

I'm seeing 3, the Spirit Lore is off as shown by Kinka-Byo, the latest Spirit released in TDGS, and he appears to've spelled "except" correctly. "Japanese" is also misspelled in the name.

david's version:

This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand the Battle Phase of the turn this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up. If this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up, destry all face-up monsters on the field except this card.

Corrected version:

This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand during the Battle Phase of the turn it is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up. If this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up, destroy all face-up monsters on the field except this card.

Once per turn, if this is the only monster you control, you can skip your Battle Phase to destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field. If you do not activate this effect, this card must attack during your Battle Phase. During battle between this attacking card and a monster whose ATK or DEF is higher than the ATK of this card, you can pick up the top 6 cards from the top of your Deck. If [exactly?] 3 [or more?] of the cards picked up by this effect are Monster Cards and the ATK of 1 Monster Card is higher than the ATK of the attack target, this card is not destroyed by battle (without damage calculation). Send all picked up cards to the Graveyard.

Without damage calculation is shown on Neo-Spacian Grand Mole, the latest example of such an event, and Reasoning is the latest example of a "pick up stuff and send all picked up cards to the Graveyard event."

OCG aside, DeMeNTeD's the clear winner based on effort.

Excuse the typo. -.- I hate this keyboard.
activate this effect]

Once per turn' date=' by Tributing 1 monster, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. This monster cannot declare an attack if you [b']used this effect this turn.

Old or new, both "use(d)" and "activate(d)" would be considered correct
If this card attacks a face-up Defense Position monster' date=' destroy the monster with this card's effect without applying damage calculation.[/quote']

Again, either way would be considered correct. And having "and a monster" w/o "your opponent controls" after it sounds kinda weird IMO. Your opponent could activate an effect that could redirect the attack to a monster you control.
attack target]

Activate only when your opponent's monster declares an attack targeting a face-up "Elemental Hero" monster you control. Switch control of the opponent's attacking monster with the targeted monster you control' date=' then calculate damage. Control of those monsters switches back during the End Phase of this turn.[/quote']

Once again, old or new, "targeted monster [you/your opponent] controls" would also be considered correct.
damage calculation)]

This card is not destroyed as a result of battle when this card battles with a monster with an ATK of 1900 or more. (Damage calculation is applied normally.)

The (without damage calculation) part is correct, but I'm just pointing out that the "D" in Damage can be capped and still be considered correct.

As for the other corrections, they will be put in.

Perhaps I Should Write My Reasons All With Capitals At The Beginning Of Words.

...No, I won't.

But that has NOTHING to do with the cards themselves.

DeMeNTeD (Already I feel like i'm contradicting myself...) wins with the pic, it definitely looks more 'appropriate'.

As for effect...

DeMeNTeD wins again! Very... Strange yet interesting ability, while david10101's feels somewhat like a Dark Dust Spirit rip-off for some reason... And isn't really that interesting.

So for me, DeMeNTeD wins.

But in the end... Hey look, cards!

I know. I'm just saying what I do have on the card may be older' date=' but it's still usable. ;)

[/quote']

Not exactly, the latest example of the effect in question should be what's used in your card effects, as Custom Cards can't be released back in time. Treat the effects as if they were to be released as soon as you made them. This is why wording such as "side of the field", "fuse", "as a result of battle", "ATK points", etc is frowned upon.
