http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/yugioh/images/8/85/RampagingRhynosCDIP-EN-R.jpg Ever see Rampaging Rhynos? he has a strange effect that depends on him being in the same column, if he is he is a Lv. 3 2000 ATK beatstick, Discuss Whether or not this new type of Effect style is good, and if you think there may be a future for this effect style as well.(would definately make sense because then Sentinent Switch would have use)

The Senet cards would've enhanced the game a lot if good 'Senet' cards were made. It'd add the column as a new factor of the game. However, they left it aside as just another few useless cards.

However, my YVD Mod has a whole archetype based on them, if you're interested.

but this is a level 3' date=' a bit easier to use for synchro summoning anything not lv. 8 but yeah the cards could have some potential if a subtype or archtype is made and some Uber support too.

[/quote']

Level 3 makes it worse off as Synchro material, since level 8 and 6 synchros are generally better, and level 2 and 4 tuners are generally better. <_<

(This is all, speaking generally of course. No stupid "but my Alien deck runs Cosmic Fortress, and he's level 5. You'd be correct that he is, but an overwhelming majority of decks wouldn't run Ammonite and Gol'Gar, wheras in general, decks can work really well by randomly splashing Plaguespreader or Krebons.)

For Senet cards in general, they only have about 3 monsters, 1 spell, and 1 trap to work with, and those cards are incredibly awful, outclassed by... just about everything. <_<

Alien Infiltrator. is outclassed by CyberDark Keel, Gear Golem the Moving Fortress and Submarineroid.

Rhynos is outclassed by Gene-Warped Warwolf and Berserk Gorilla (and you could make other arguments, like Lightsworn Jain here, if you really wanted to.)

Blasting Fuse is a more broader, but more situational Icarus Attack.

Senet Switch is lols. Terrible support for a terrible "archetype".

The closest thing to a decent one is Storm Shooter, but it's a level 7 Wind Winged Beast. Not exactly the easiest thing to bring out on the field.

Overall, unless they get uber good support, something like "when a monster switches it's column, destroy a card on your opponent's field." or something, they're gonna be long forgotten.

the position changers, I would have liked to see them get more cards made in that way, but I think it might have been to hard to make it fair.

I mean, why exactly should the exact placement of your cards matter?

if I want a nice looking setup, I make it nice. I don't want to have to "pawn block" just to stop an attack.
