Felix
That would still be OP. For a Deck with good, consistent strat, there's usually better things to put in Decks along with better splashables if it doesn’t. Occasionally you'll get it a 2 but not very often. LostLetter227
@~emo~ you are most certainly NOT better than me as far as im concerned good players dont run this anymore! lol ^ I think this card might have been better if you discarded 2 cards and destroyed all monsters instead of face-up. You want Chaos Sorceror huh?
Felix
He wanted to skillessly (is that even a real word?) wipe out opponent's field, that's what he wanted.

jessekirino
Fissure and Smashing Ground better than lightning Vortex?!?!?!?!?!? Why?!?!? Because you don't have to discard? a) Discarding can be good in many decks (i.e. Discard a strong tribute monster to special summon it with Monster Reborn). b) What happens when you have two troublesome foes and you get Fissure or Smashing Ground? You are still left with trouble (i.e. You're up against two Colossal Fighters, which card would you rather have in your hands, Fissure, Smashing Ground or Lightning Vortex?). c) With Fissure and Smashing Ground you don't get to choose which of your opponents monsters to destroy. With Lightning Vortex you don't need to (i.e. Goyo Guardian and Dark Magician are on the field, which card would you rather have in your hands, Fissure, Smashing Ground or Lightning Vortex?). There is no comparison in the usefulness between the two cards you mentioned and Lightning Vortex.

And it isn't even built for that purpose.b and c) The meta is way too fast to even use the 3 of them. Even if you didn't have time, you can use Mirror Force, which will probably be gone anyways with JD. And lol Colossal Fighter. Of course, I would want LV for those situations, but when you're in topdeck mode, you might as well scoop. Side it. Side it. Side it.
Mr. Judgment Dragon
Not a bad card but certainly not as mainable as it used to be.
tonisanoob
why are people saying this is a fast meta??? okay sure lightsworn are top but in all honesty they are too erratic at times to be considered fast, a lot of the time you need to draw into ceratin cards to win anyhoo, not liek tele dad where bad hands almost dont exist i dont think the meta can be considered fast if volcanic monarchs are the second best deck you can use atm¬_¬
