LiAM
Sorry about the title, it made you look though didn't it :) This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:●When this card is Normal Summoned successfully, inflict 300 points of Direct Damage to your opponents Life Points for each card they control. Reason behind effect: Most Pyro monsters have 'Burn' effects; King Pyron, Solar Flare Dragon etc., this could be an addition to a Pyro/FIRE/Burn Deck. AsterikcAde
Pretty simple yet a powerful effect for the card, I'm not a big fan of gemini's by this one takes the cake! ^^ 9/
OmegaWave
OMG IT'S GOLD RARE! It's OPed. Look at how it's worded. There is no "Once per turn". The way it's worded, you could just inflict continuous damage in one turn and win. Add "Once per turn" and it would be...... 7/
LiAM
lol thnx, Geminis are hard to make cos they have really short effects, so i made some GFX effects to make it better :)OMG IT'S GOLD RARE! Gemini effects are continuous as long as the monster stays on the field.
LiAM
Think of Muka muka; incrase this cards ATK and DEF by 300 for each card in your hand. That effect only works once. otherwise, you could reuse it and get 9999ATK.

KING PYRON.....King Pyron even says "Once per turn, you can inflict 1000 damage to your opponent"....
TrickyPooBoy
The point is, when can you use the effect? Take Grasschopper for instance: http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/yugioh/images/1/17/GrasschopperTAEV-EN-R.jpg

LiAM
The Thread title was a contradiction to myself, either that, or an indirect question to see if you could spot the mistake... -i prefer the second option.
OverlordMMM
I AM NOT that STUPID! ......ok.....aside from the spam/ response to title........the second part of the effect makes no sense because if they card is face up on the field then you can't summon it again.......if you still want it to have the effect here's an alternative: This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. When this card is normal summoned, it is treated as a Effect Monster with the following effect: ●When this card is Normal Summoned successfully, inflict 300 points of Direct Damage to your opponents Life Points for each card they control. This card is treated as a Normal Monster once this effect resolves. ...what do you think?....
LiAM
Its pointless really, whats the point in it becoming a Normal again?
TrickyPooBoy
I dunno, maybe a few cards like Birthright.
LiAM
O.o I am unaware of this card you speak of. But anyway, the written effect is good as it is.

LiAM
oh lol, well what if i dont want this card to be able to be used on it :)
OmegaWave
Birthright would work on this monster as it is. A Gemini is only treated as an effect monster while on the field. If it's sent to the Graveyard, it's turned back into a Vanilla where cards like Birthright can bring it back...where you can then Normal Summon again to make it into an Effect monster. This is an official ruling.
LiAM
oh lol, well im not really as up to date on yugioh gameplay ;)
OverlordMMM
Its pointless really' date=' whats the point in it becoming a Normal again?[/quote'] .....there are many negative effects which can target (specifically) effect monsters, and there are also many effects which can help protect and summon normal monsters.....the card Birthright was an excellent example..... .....and since normal monsters have no effect, if there were a bunch of cards like this (in which the effect was temporary), then someone could create a "Normal Monster" deck using these very special Effect Monsters.................utilizing many of those type of cards.... LiAM
True, i was going to create a Normal Deck. But, i like this card as it is.
OverlordMMM
.....the second part of the effect makes no sense though....... While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect: ....if its already on the field there is no need to re-summon it from the field onto the field. Thats why I reworded it.....
