I'll add Solemns if I can get them, but why exactly do people always recommend 2 in Blackwings over the standard 3? Does it become a dead draw with 3?

I think you should drop 1 Burden of the Mighty and 1 Black Whirlwind for the 2 D-Crow A-Reverses.

I'm probably gonna drop both Burdens. I find they don't tend to help very much in bad situations. Fortunately the Raging Battle box I'm getting for my birthday should be arriving soon :D

 

So should I be using Dark Creator/DAD/Zerato or a combination? DAD/Dark Creator will probably be easier for me to get since they're being reprinted and Zerato is still a PTDN secret.

Actually I did see your post that's why I was asking about the advantages of using Zerato over DAD or Dark Creator (sorry I didn't make that clearer, I've been doing a ton of writing lately for my classes and I've only had time to make quick posts).

 

Also why the random Zombie Masters in the side deck? Everything else is pretty understandable aside from Shrink maybe since I'd rather main stuff that doesn't target to deal with the rampant number of plant decks at my locals.

Ah, I see then. I'm debating whether I should use them though since there is not one Zombie deck or a deck that even uses Zombies at my locals. Except for one guy that was there for only one week I was the only person playing a Zombie deck (prior to when I started playing Blackwings). Basically the decks at my locals are Plants, Glads, and occasional Lightsworn.

Fair enough. A really good trick is to Side Zombie World + Zombie Master against Decks that are type-specific. But that would kinda ruin Blackwings too...

 

Maybe run Giant Trunade over MST?

I actually have Trunade in my side deck right now, but with the amount of m/t destruction Delta Crow allows for it would probably makes sense to main it. Don't really remember why I was playing MST over it in the first place XD

One of my friends actually suggested that to me, but I'd like to keep it mostly Blackwings if possible. In the pre-RGBT deck I'm playing right now it isn't easy to swarm if the monsters you're drawing aren't mostly Blackwings. Not to mention Blackwings already have some problems with hand size so giving up resources for Monk might not be such a good idea. Especially considering all it can fetch is Bora and Shura for Lv4's.

Eh, Zombie Master is useful for zombies. Random tech. Personally I side deck System Down.

 

Zerato is more reliable than DAD, there will hardly be exactly 3 darks, very little graveyard manipulation.

If it isn't helping you could always just Allure it. Dark Creator and Dark Eruption do allow for some graveyard manipulation though and once Vayu is out I am considering using Grepher. I've got a DAD now and it's been testing pretty well for me. I traded the Burdens to my brother though.

I used to find Burden somewhat helpful, but the reason I traded them away was because they weren't helping. I'm liking BW Master's RGBT build though (do you think Elfen is a must btw?)

I've updated my deck with RGBT cards. I might add Solemns if they're in Gold Series and easy to obtain, but I don't think I'll be getting them otherwise. I'd rather focus on getting what I'm missing from my extra deck, another Blizzard, and a replacement DAD.

 

I've also got a Swallow's Nest should I main deck it or trade it?

 

To Toxic_X: Do the Harpie's conflict at all with the Blackwings? Also I'd use Dark Eruptions over Against the Wind since you don't need to pay any life points (though you can only get darks with 1500 or less attack).

Yeah, I've been finding it works great. Played in a tourney today and had 3 wins only one loss and my only loss was to a Blackwing mirror match (He had Allures, Crush, and D.D. Crow'd some of my big plays).
